    Great tv which we installed above our fireplace. The installation was great. Interaction with Geek Squad scheduling was poor. Made me go back to store to buy cables we did not need which was a 2 hour drive.

    It is a very nice tv, just at my age a little hard to figure out. This is why i had to have geek squad come and help me figure things out, it is a very smart tv. I love it

    From my visit to the store to picking up the TV the next day, my experience was outstanding! The salesperson (I am so terribly sorry I cannot remember his name) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I feel like I got the best TV to meet my needs - a TV which I love!!

    When my Roku tv died, I bought this one because it was on sale, without doing my research. While it’s a beautiful picture, and it does what I need it to do. It defaults to autoplaying Samsung TV plus. Even though I deleted the app from my app list. By the time I got tired enough of it to call support, I was outside the return window. Support told me the only option to get rid of that ‘feature’ is to delete all the channels from Samsung TV plus, and now my tv defaults to a static ‘Channel 3’ like it’s 1982 again.

      Gerret,

      While your Q60D TV may currently default to Samsung’s TV Plus app, please know you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Start Screen Option

      1) Enabling Start with Smart Hub Home automatically launches Smart Hub when the TV is turned on. Navigate to this option to enable or disable the feature.

      2) If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. You can turn this function on or off by pressing the Select button in the current menu.

      To download apps that did not come pre-installed on your TV, a Samsung Account is necessary to access the App Store. Other than adding more apps, your TV will function the same with or without a Samsung account.
