Why must I sign in to my own TV? In the middle of shows, I get the message to sign in. My old Samsung lasted less than five years until it sputtered and died.

Samsung Clas Q60T series qled4k uhd smart tizen tv

Since I bought it, the sound goes out intermittently. I have been trying to get this fixed since then. Best Buy says to call Samsung, Samsung sent me to a dealer out of state. They have been no call no show, cancel after confirming time after time. Need I say this is Feb 2021, and the tv is still not fixed, nor has anyone been to my home to repair it. It will be a LONG time before I ever consider buying anything Samsung or from best buy until I get this resolved. Any input or anyone have similar experiences?

For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings
- Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
- Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
- Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

In addition, the quality of the image on your screen depends on the source and the connection.
HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing; and when possible, 4K content will provide the best picture quality. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer the signal is to 4K, the better it will look coming out.
The quality of the streaming content depends largely on the speed of your internet, as most content providers have adaptive streaming that will automatically adjust the image quality based on the network bandwidth.

Malfunctions regularly

It sometimes does what ever it wants i could not bring up the input menu for half a day it scrolls through channels by itself and the picture is meh. Not satisfied at all with the purchase would have returned it but window is closed. You have been warned.

Not worth it. Buy the Q80T instead.

But the motion refresh and judder was terrible. It actually hurt my eyes. The screen itself also had a darker half-inch border all around the edge next to the bevel. This is NOT a TV for cinephiles. If you want to stick with Samsung buy the far superior Q80T.

Sound bars don't work with HDMI ARC

Only way to get it reconnected is unplug the TV. (every time you turn the tv off)

I am sorry that you are experiencing sound connection issue with your Q60T QLED 4K TV.
If the TV cannot communicate with the soundbar/receiver via CEC then it will revert back to TV speakers. The most likely cause of this is another device connected to HDMI causing CEC interference.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help with the issue:
1) Verify CEC is working on the TV by using a different CEC enabled device like Blu-ray player. You can also verify CEC is working if the TV remote can control volume on the receiver/Soundbar
2) Disconnect all other HDMI devices except the receiver/sound bar (for testing purposes only). Some HDMI devices (e.g. cable boxes, game consoles etc.) transmit invalid CEC data which may disturb CEC communication. Other devices ground pin 13 on the HDMI port which disables CEC on the entire HDMI network.
3) Go to TV menu as above then turn CEC off then on. This sometimes refreshes the connection and re-establishes communication
4) Set the TV’s digital audio output format (Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format) and change the format to one that the receiver/Soundbar supports (PCM is the most common format)
5) Check the volume of the source device. Some sources have their own volume control which might be set too low or are mute.

Ad's and Apps You Cant Turn Off or Remove!

You cannot turn off the ad's or remove the installed app's. Thankfully I only purchased 1 of these, wont be buying Samsung TV's again. Very sad since I use Samsung phones, 49" CRG9 PC monitor, sound bars, headphones + more
