However, the Samsung TV OS “Tizen” is so god awful it isn’t even funny. It took me 2 days to set the TV up with multiple factory restarts that would sometimes just not work. After all that, I got a slow and unresponsive menu that barely worked and had random stuff playing at max volume. Incredible amount of bloat and then it randomly stopped working (the OS). I got a Roku ultra, took 5 minutes to setup, and is unironically maybe 10x as fast as the Samsung TV OS. This also isn’t a rare issue, there are plenty of online threads about this garbage OS. I would highly recommend getting another brand if you don’t want to splurge on an external device to have the TV not be garbage. TLDR: TV looks fantastic, sounds fantastic, software is horrible and it’s basically required to have an external device.
