Save your money TOO MUCH JUDDER!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In order to get highest definition from this TV you have allow 'Auto Motion' to be on the 'Auto' setting. However then you get the infamous soap opera effect on movies and DVD's. You can kind of get around this by adjusting the settings in 'Custom', or turning off Auto Motion. I set the Blur Reduction to 6 and Judder to 3 in Custom. This is a pain though because sometimes it needs to be adjusted further depending on the movie you are watching. Having auto motion on for reality and news type programs is just fine and is in fact what you want. But having to constantly adjust settings buried in a menu to get the best picture for a given program really sucks. Now, another really big issue with this tv is the amount of judder when set to Auto Motion/Auto. As an example watching high def nature programs in this mode you get an annoying 'stop & go' motion of the picture. Once you notice it you will always see it. This s also very apparent when watch movies esp. when the camera pans slowly, you get a really bad judder of the scene. Again, using custom settings gets around most of this but to me it defeats the purpose of having a setting that is supposed to be for the best high def but you can't watch it because of the amount of judder this tv has. I spent hours researching which tv to buy and in the end I still didn't get one that I'm happy with. Beware of the issues I mentioned if considering this unit, or a Samsung....
