It has a great picture and the sound is so much better than my old plasma. The Bixby feature is not dependable and I don’t use it

Beautiful bright picture! Easy operation. A huge step up from our previous tv. Worth the difference between the Q70 and Q80.

Great picture was easy to hang on wall. Watching from angle is very good set up was a little confusing for a blue ray player

Bought this particular tv because room it is in is dark. I felt full array was needed. I also purchased to play Xbox and PS4 on. It works very well with the Xbox allowing it's natural 1440p video. Lag input is very low, game mode is automatic, it finds everything hooked to it automatically. Really haven't had any issues other than bixby chiming in from time to time thinking your asking a question. I chose this tv over oled because of risk of burn in which I've been told is very likely.

I love this tv. The vibrant color and crisp picture make gameplay and movies look awesome. I highly recommend this tv.

Just as advertisered, awesome picture, bright, off-center viewing excellent and reflection off screen is the best.

TV is nice hop up from the already excellent Q70r... and the contrast AND view angle screen addition made ALL the difference. Yes. At 90* to tv viewing was fine for both, but at a minimal angle the image did look very washed out on the q70r as compared to the q80r. But between the q80 and q90, my eyes couldn’t tell a difference. And the contrast and local dimming is much better on the q80 v q70 also. After my eyes adjusted the q70 looked washed out a bit v q80/90... but again I could tell no real work difference between the q80 v q90. The win for me was... when compared to the q90r... that tv didn’t have as much improvement over the q80, like the q80 had over the q70. And price per square inch, with the better features on the screen tech , made it easy for me. Q80<Q90<Q70... yes the q90 was the “best”... but the price difference and fact that the contrast screen and view angle was the same as the q80, made it a no-brainer. And the game mode is much better this year and every year by Samsung. Movies are perfect. And you need a sound bar (or 5.1 system) now for ANY tv regardless. It’s a win win for me.

My living room windows have always left a glare on the tv. When I arrived at the store I asked your representative which TVs would show the least amount of glare. They directed me to only one tv, the Samsung Qled 80R, and that is the one I purchased. I got the TV home and they were definitely correct about minimal glare. My wife was ecstatic about how much more enjoyable watching TV is, the picture is amazing, with very little glare. Thank you for recommending this TV.

Very easy to use, and everything looks great. Simple remote and interface. 1 month in, very happy so far.

I knew the Q80R was good...but I didn't realize how good until the movie Top Gun and Twister was seen...on cable. These movies were made in '86 and '96. This tv makes it seem like I was there helping them during the filming! Unbelievable! Every night for the first two weeks, both my wife and I commented how amazing the picture quality is. I haven't used all the other stuff it came with except Amazon Prime and Netflix...they hooked right up!

Noticeable quality improvement compared to 75". i was in store and was about to buy 75" but saw colors were dimmer than 65" of this q80. Asked in store help to find out setting were same and still i noticed the difference and went for 65' instead and doesn't regret that anymore. Remote is super sensitive specially the round one in middle. wish i could control sensitivity. will research this but as of today i dont know if that exists.
