    Tv didn't even last 2 years before a red vertical line showed up on the screen. Have heard that Samsung products were not nearly as good as in the past, but definitely expected this set to last longer. No more Samsungs for us.

    Samsung makes the best tvs and Best Buy has the best service in the Geek Squad. I have used Best Buy for the past 15 years to purchase tvs primarily because of the Geek Squad as well as Best Buy’s selection.

    The two gentlemen from the Geek Squad did a fantastic job mounting my new TV on the wall. They were also very helpful in checking settings and explaining some of the functionality to me. Thanks much!

    A little backlight bleeding

    I bought this tv after thanksgiving holiday and pretty much payed msrp with tax included. The only thing i have a problem with this tv is that when the picture is black you can see backlight bleeding, on my tv its the top part of the screen but its not enough to bother me. All in all great build quality.

    Your staff at the store are great! Your delivery was not done when scheduled . Had day off and friends over to help. Total wast of time. People on phone are clueless. Totally messed up delivery again. Then never got my 4k cables till a month later and had to go in store to pick up.

    I am ecstatic with my New TV and Sound System. It was installed professionally and quick. I'd buy another one but I'm out of rooms to put TV's in... BB you all are awesome... the CREW was great.

    We came in hoping to get some knowledge on the Tv’s we were looking at and our salesperson was so awesome ! You could tell he knew his stuff!!! We walked out of there going wow he was smart!!!! Great experience!

    TV and Sound Bar Integration

    Great picture. We got the integrated sound bar and it needed synching up to the TV. This took some effort and time. In the end it is synched, but the sound bar is lacking in "good" bass quality. Being a musician, I am harder than most people would be to please when it comes to sound quality.

    Its a perfect tv to watch quality movies for the right price. I love the brightness and the feature islt comes with. I also love how the remote can change by putting it differently into light.

    This tv is frustrating. It had great moments were I was blown away however it has trouble with dark scenes. There was a white bar across the middle of the letterbox format and it was a complete deal breaker. I returned and bought a Sony OLED and wow, I havent looked back.

    This television has a great display and definitely get the sound bar to match it will make a difference. I have a Samsung phone so it pairs great with my equipment overall I'm very happy

    Love this Tv. The full array lighting gives this thing a high variety of usage in variable lifting. I like the smart tv features and it works well with hdmi control on the blu ray player.

    So far the Samsung TV is working great, I hope it perform up to par. I've always preferred Samsung brands, so far they have been a reliable brand, my older TV was a Samsung too.

    I love the tv, streaming is amazing. I had a problem with lip sync on some channels with Fios cable but I solved by turning off auto delay on Fios top box. Otherwise very pleased with TV

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q80A TV and for your review. I am glad you were able to resolve the lip sync issues you were experiencing. Please also be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1708.0 which includes updates to further address any lip sync or audio delays. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

      If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
      1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
      2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
      3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
      4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
      5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.

    The picture is better than what I had however a little disappointed in the clarity/sharpness. I really thought that this was gonna be the last tv I bought for awhile, I’ll enjoy it for now but will be looking again soon.

      You can go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the TV's sharpness and clarity settings to your taste with Picture Clarity Settings and Sharpness functions.

      To ensure that your TV’s picture is optimized, be sure that you are always running the latest firmware update. You can check this by going to Settings > Support > Software Update or you can enable Auto Update for convenience.

    1080 broadcast on a 4k TV

    I purchased an LG 65" OLED 4k and the picture quality was terrible for 1080 broadcasts. The 4K pictures were great. I returned it and purchased a Samsung 65" QLED 4k. The 1080 broadcast picture quality is much better.

    Great product and great customer service. The first TV that I installed had a line down the middle of the screen. I contacted the Best Buy team and they delivered a new one to my home ASAP

    TV is great about switching inputs automatically between my apple tv and ps5 just by touching the remote for either platform. Game mode with some sort of improved refresh rate automatically applies as well for when the ps5 turns on. only 1 Hdmi 2.1 input.
