      We appreciate your feedback on the brightness of Samsung's Q80B TV. If the image is too dim, please try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions, as these will automatically adjust your picture and may cause your screen to appear brighter or darker than preferred. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > turn off Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting

      You can also try different Picture Modes to see which best fits your needs. Go to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode for the below choices:
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      3) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      4) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      Intelligent Mode also enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode. Adaptive Picture, which is among the options, optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition and the content you're viewing.

      Please also be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1303.2 which includes various performance and picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

      Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      3) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      4) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

    Black screen of Death

    The TV was installed by the Geek Squad and the black screen of death appeared less than 24 hours after the install. Very disappointing. Of course had tonhave it replaced with a different brand this time.

    Lost wifi, hdmi, and bluetooth capabilites after 45 days. Didnt get a warranty and its looks like ill be out of pocket for some repairs on a tv im still paying for.

    I replace my Samsung TV twice. All 3 tv having issues. Geek squad came in to resolve issue, they inform me it’s TV software issue. I am not satisfied what I purchase.

    Disappointing picture, returned it. Didn't have the vibrancy. Replaced it with the better quality Q95 that was on sale.
