This was until I went to see them side by side and I’m glad I did. I take nothing away from Sony but the Samsung in my opinion had a more colorful picture with realistic depth. The level of brightness was perfect for my gathering room that has a ton of outside light. The sound is amazing and at this point I don’t think a sound bar is needed. The frameless Bezel adds a look of richness and the stand supports it well. I can’t wait to check out all the other features.

Near perfect customization settings, the backlighting and local dimming definitely make a difference in every mode available. Soundbar or not the speakers work well within a 10-20 foot radius. Sleek and not too too heavy, but for the size 2 people is best. The Best Buy descriptions are well in their range and if this one broke I'd probably buy it again. ALSO NO ONE TELLS YOU THIS; But there ARE buttons on the device, located UNDERSIDE of the tv just below the Samsung logo.
