I just retired from my job of 22 years and I treated myself and got me a big TV that I always wanted. I’m a senior citizen and oh I just love my TV. I’ve been enjoying it every day and the service guys that came out Daniel and the other guy did a great job setting it up. It’s the best gift I could ever give myself and Best Buy is number one store in my heart. Love shopping at Best Buy.♥️

Poooor 3rd party installation and customer service

They refused to pay the entrance fee to my development and drove away causing me to pick up the televisions at the store (30 minutes away) and wait for several days for my son to help me mount them. The in-store staff was great in helping to select the right models and to facilitate re purchasing the televisions. Unfortunately trying to rectify the situation with customer service was exasperating even when I tried to elevate the issue (I was told there was no supervisor to elevate the resolution)

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the TV, updated from a plasma, so that is Great, the manual is lacking, it's like a small piece of paper with even smaller print. there is a downloadable, but not exactly easy to understand. The other issue is sound. did not have issues with the old plasma tv. The sound on this Qled TV for me is just FINE, the TV speakers sound great. But for my husband (he is hard of hearing and needs it to use his headphones) so we had to go through the optical, some channels are so low he can't get enough volume up. Went through steps to fix it, per the online manual, but still can't get volume up. So many tv's and amps now have NO separate headphone, it either cuts off TV speakers for everyone else, or it just doesn't accommodate the hard of hearing or someone who wants it louder than everyone else. especially with older people who need volume and close caption. These people watch more TV than the young people these days.

Thank you for sharing your review. First, to ensure your TV's performance is fully optimized, please check if a software update is available: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update
Tips to optimize audio:
1. Turn on the external audio device before connecting the optical cable if possible.
2. Manually change the Sound Output: Home > left directional key > Settings > Sound Output, then press Select to toggle between modes. Choose the source labeled Optical.
3. Turn off Auto Volume if you want to control volume through a soundbar or external speakers. Using Auto Volume with external speakers may prevent proper volume control on the external device.
4. Turn off the Sound Sensor using the toggle switch on the TV (near/below the Samsung logo).
5. Disable AI sound features: Settings > Advanced Features > AI Mode Settings > AI Mode
6. You may also enable Simultaneous Optical Output, which allows both the device connected via optical and your TV’s speakers to play sound at the same time: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings
Please note: Most optical headphones require a DAC (digital-to-analog converter) built into the headset or adapter to convert the optical signal into audio. Even then, the volume control is usually on the headset itself, not the TV. Optical outputs transmit a fixed digital audio signal, so any adjustments made through the TV’s settings – including Auto Volume – will not affect this signal. As a result, volume levels on optical headphones may remain inconsistent, especially when switching between content with different audio levels.
Another option is to use a Bluetooth headset, as your TV supports Multi-output Audio, allowing simultaneous sound through both the TV speakers and Bluetooth headphones. You can adjust each audio output independently – for example, keeping the TV volume lower while boosting volume on your headphones. To enable: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Multi-output Audio
