The operating system keeps auto playing the media source that was used last, and if I want to have eARC turned on it leads to the tv turning my PlayStation back on every time I turn off the PlayStation, which will go on and on in a never ending loop. I’ve had to turn off eARC to avoid the issue, or else it would have eventually broken my PlayStation.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with Samsung's QN85B TV. Please know you can choose what your TV's Home Screen does when you turn it on by going to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Start Screen Option > Autorun Smart Hub
1) Enabling Autorun Smart Hub automatically launches the Smart Hub when the TV is turned on. Navigate to this option to enable or disable the feature.
2) If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app is automatically run when you turn on the TV. You can turn this function on or off by pressing the Select button in the current menu.
Samsung TVs have Anynet+ (also known as HDMI-CEC), a feature that allows connected external HDMI devices to inform your TV when they have turned on. By default, the TV will immediately switch to this source when this happens. To turn off this function of a device connected to the TV, turn off the Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) function of the device.
Also, please make sure that your TV’s firmware is up to date.

It takes multiple clicks of the remote to get it take action on literally anything. Cant stand it!

We appreciate your feedback on the response time, and for optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed on your QN85B TV. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

I bought it to have an additional tv to watch and the difference between this one & the 1k tv is huge. Samsung makes great tv's. The older 1k tv I have is also a Samsung and it's a great product. I've had that older one for almost 10 years and no problems with it so far.

Samsung QN85B

So far we are very pleased with the picture and options. I prefer the remote from my previous samsung tv, finding picture and sound preferences was much more user friendly. This tvs picture is better than our old model ( from 2010) . It should be considering the cost.

The mini LEDs produce brilliant colors and the blacks are definitely the best on this TV. So glad I made this purchase.
