I purchased an open box and that could be the cause of my issues. If buying it new it should work great

It was however sold without power cable and original remote. WhennI asked support, they asked me to "go to store and talk to someone to get missing parts " instead of replacing them. Now who wouldn't prefer a visit to local store instead of tapping on phone to get replacement from Amazon. I should have bought my TV from Amazon too...
