If you use headphones it will go back to tv speakers only, no sound bar. When using headphones and tv speakers the clear dialogue doesn’t work and the equalizer doesn’t change much for treble. The sound is a big issue that needs to be addressed. However, Samsung got it right regarding the PICTURE, It’s great on this S90C. The reason I bought this s90c and HW-S60B soundbar is that I had an older Samsung tv that worked great with a good picture and I could use headphones and tv plus soundbar with no issues

Thank you for sharing your experience with Samsung's S90C TV. For optimal connectivity performance, please be sure your TV is running the latest firmware update. You can check this by going to Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
Please also keep in mind that the Multi-output Audio function is primarily used for someone who needs to use Bluetooth headphones at a higher/lower volume from the TV speakers. It is not recommended to use Multi-output Audio with external speakers.
