We explored other options and older models and this was always the front runner. The quality is exceptional. Geek Squad was amazing too installing the tv mount. This is out 3rd large Samsung tv and the best one so far (2 others are qled)

It was very highly rated and I chose it because of Consumer Reports review. Unfortunately, the first tv that I got was apparently defective. It would go off and restart at random times, sometimes freeze up before restarting and had some motion blurring. I called Samsung and the rep went into my tv and made some adjustments but it didn't correct the problem. I ended up returning it for a second one and it does not have the issues the first one had. Hopefully, this second one will be alright. I used consumer reports settings recoommendations and the picture quality is very good.

My previous TV was an LG and the guide was great. The Samsung guide rarely gets all the info and just spins its wheel.
