I prefer the Samsung smart TV UI over LG, but I removed a star because I can't stand how gaming has a separate menu system, which makes navigating the UI slower. I want to be able to select all of my inputs from a single menu. That said, I still chose this TV because it is better than LG

I am a fan of Samsung so knew what brand I wanted and with my newly rebuilt home from a house fire last year where my tv's all destroyed I decided to go woth a much bigger on for me LR. Love it!

Lots of competition, pleased to see I’m very happy with both.

Installation and set up are very simple and in less than two minutes, my DVD player was automatically detected and working well with it. This was a very good purchase.
