    Samsung 65-Inch TV did not work out of the box

    Bought this Samsung 65-Inch TV as an exchange for a defective LG 65-inchTV. After mounting on the wall and powering it on the screen was blank but the voice set-up prompt was active but the remote could not access anything except power on off. Brought back to the store and the manager would not take the unit back for an exchange or refund saying the TV was dropped. I emphasized that I did not drop the TV and with my IT consulting business installing over 40 TV's I never had a problem like this. I took the TV home and contacted Samsung customer support, who ere absolutely great. After troubleshooting the TV, the Samsung techs determined it was a firmware issue that was not cause by the TV being dropped or mishandled. and that I should return it back to Best Buy. I then brought the TV to another Best Buy store, explained the situation with the Customer Service Desk associate and got a refund for the TV.

    Good wall install and setup. But the best part was the Geek Squad protection plan as I had to order a replacement because the TV had a defect

    Arrived as agreed and set up was ok. Did have to stop crew to get explanation as to how to use remote to access Netflix, Prime etc. They were on the way out before I realized they weren’t go to do a show and tell

    TV is great overall however there is a vertical shadow line on the left side of the screen 3 months in and there’s no way to get it removed

    The TV is good. However, the customer service was the worst part for me. They kept canceling the delivery. I talked to about 10 people over chat and phone, but none of them were helpful. They just said ‘sorry to hear that,’ blah blah. I literally stayed home for 3 days to receive the TV, and there’s no compensation for the inconvenience they created. Very disappointing.

    It’s good but the sound sometimes is garbled like it’s underwater. Tech support says to unplug for a minute and replug and the issue gets fixed but then it just eventually happens again. I’ve had it for 6 months and it started after having it for 2 months….
