Great tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv outperforms my older lg oled c6 by quite a bit. Unlike the lg, this tv does not have pink tinge on all white screen, nor does it have uniformity issues or dirty screen effect like the w-oled tvs suffer from which is a real treat. I keep expecting to see these things, but nowhere to be found. The combination of bright quantum dot and oled pure blacks puts this tv leagues above the others. For those worried it does'nt support dolby vision, fear not. I find the colors pop more and details are stronger than viewed on my lg oled. ive never seen such dazzling colors with such great contrast as this presents, especially on the brighter settings such as dynamic. this thing is bright, much much brighter than i anticipated. The sound quality is decent for a tv with such thinness. I listened to these speakers for a week before hooking up my 9.1 receiver and i was never bothered except for heavy bass. For casual listening the sound is fine, but no matter which tv is purchased these days a sound bar or full receiver system is needed for optimal sound The remote is neat, solar powered and nice looking, although it is small and black, and gets lost in couch easily. There is also voice command from alexia, google and bixbie, very nice feature. Tv also has hdr10+ adapitive, which is nice for best possible picture if watching content such as amazon. A camera can be instalked for more features The only con is the tizen smart system, it doesnt seem as intuitive as lgs, and not as quick to get to inputs or stations when conpared to lg magic remote, but once you figure everything out, its not bad. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get into oled. I had been considering lg offerings as well as sonys nice tvs, but for the features, picture quality, ease of apps, and price i certainly couldnt ever go to another brand

Great TV, last year's model for less.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been wanting to get an OLED TV for many years. We looked at the top 3 brands of 65" OLED TVs and honestly, they are all very impressive. But the S95B seemed a bit brighter and that appealed to us. It was also nice that the price is discounted because the new S95C model for this year just came out (with very little changes over last year's model). We have this in our living room that has lots of natural light from windows and this TV looks great and gets plenty bright. The Samsung Tizen OS is ok, it can be a little slow to respond but seems to be better with the most recent firmware update. We love the picture quality and the colors this tv produces and are very pleased with our purchase. I expected I would want to get a sound bar after getting the TV installed at home, but so far the speakers in the TV are more than adequate and work very well.

GOAT TV (after firmware update)
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought an LG C2 at launch to replace my LG C7 but had to demote the C2 to the bedroom after five days running side by side with the Samsung S95B. Really amazing how much the new QD-OLED tech advances OLED in general. Not just an incremental upgrade but rather a big step forward. The brightness and purity of colors is truly next level. I really dont miss Dolby Vision at all. Even Dolby Vision promotional videos look better in HDR+ on the Samsung. The S95B is perhaps the greatest gaming TV of all time. On both my PS5 and PC the Samsung outclassed the LG C2. Initially the OS was buggy but much of that was solved by firmware update 1211.2. Perhaps the Sony A95K will be slightly better when released but the Samsung S95B is without question the best TV under $3K and will remain in that position for the balance of 2022.

TV Good, Best Buy. . . Not so much
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV is great. The picture is everything I was expecting and the quality of the TV is great. The problem I have is not with Samsung or the TV but with Best Buy. The TV was open box Excellent condition, this means it should come with all accessories. My TV was missing power cord and the remote and the screws for the stand. The screws were a minor issue but the remote and power cord was unacceptable. Best Buy chat did help by saying that they could replace it with a different Excellent condition open box. But that one had no stand. They ended up giving me the accessories for a different TV of the same model and called it good. The cord worked but the remote was dead. I assume they let the battery run dead when the TV was on display, and now it will not charge. All they had to do was sit with the solarcell up so it could maintain a charge. The good news is that Samsung is going to replace the remote. Samsung's support was wonderful and easy to work with.

Great while it lasted...
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV. Really love it. HOWEVER... the TV just died on me. After owning this TV for a little more than three months, it will no longer turn on. If you scroll through 1 & 2 star reviews, this seems to be a common problem with this model. On the plus side, Samsung support is pretty awesome. Samsung support is available 24/7. It was pretty easy to schedule a repair. Pros... + Beautiful picture + Samsung support is great Cons... - The GUI / user interface & menus are just a little slower than what I was expecting, especially for the price. - I feel like this smart TV isn't that smart - Died after three months I would still recommend this TV, especially if you can get it on sale; just make sure you buy the extended warranty and register the serial number with your Samsung account.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Colors are crisp and true. Best tv for the money. Go see it in person!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best picture available. I looked at Sony and LG OLEDs but the Samsung QD-OLED was cleary better in a side by side comparison. On of the best reasons to shop in store. Great contrast and color. Absolutely the best tv for the money.

Perfect picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung S95B and Sony A95K are the best OLED TVs of the 2022 models, but the Sony is just too expensive. The S95B has the cleanest screen I have ever seen, if you can’t stand dirty screen effect QD-OLED is the way to go. The picture quality is great, it’s the brightest OLED out right now and the colors can’t be matched by any other technology. The only downside is the tv is so thin that it is fragile, you have to be very careful not to bend it when moving it. I’d rather they build them a little thicker so I don’t have to worry about breaking it. Also the smart calibration feature using your smartphone camera is very cool.

Game changer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best picture of any tv I’ve ever owned. The contrast ratio is infinite. I’ve never seen a brighter, cleaner picture. Darkest blacks ever. Have seen ZERO blooming, ghosting or judder. As a college football fan I can’t stop watching. Easy to use and adjust. Simplistic remote design I was worried about at first sight but it’s been easy to use and requires no batteries. Either charge by cord or simplify allow it to UV charge - amazing.

Best Movie TV on the market
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful design. Amazing technology. Blackest blacks. 0 light bleed. Vibrant HDR10+. Smooth AI and very easy interface. Remote could be a little better weighted with backlight. On the other hand, ill never have to change the batteries again. This TV is twice as amazing when you pair a new Q-Symphony Dolby atmos Samsung Soundbar to get up to 22 immersive sound speakers theater quality s

Great picture quality and excellent brightness.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent overall picture quality with much improved brightness level over LG C1, particularly when watching sports, soccer and TV news channels. The OS is very slow and the options on TV remote should have been more, especially for quick access to source/input. Since is an Oled TV with great blacks, excellent picture quality and all around much improved brightness level, I can live with few OS flaws until hopefully is improved thru firmware/software updates. I also think the panel is too thin which causes noticeable bend in many panels, and that needs to be addressed and fixed in the future. Overall, love the TV.

AMAZING... but not perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had the TV for 4 weeks now. Overall, great TV, amazing HDR, amazing for gaming, and (surprisingly) the sound is superb as well. But there are some issues with it. It's possible the screen can bend due to how thin it is (mine is slightly bent but not a big deal), too many clicks to get to certain settings, it can take multiple clicks on remote control for TV to register it, sound can be out of sync with the image or no sound comes out at all (it's fixed by turning OFF then ON), firmware updates can change image settings. Yes, the Con side is longer than the Pro side, but if you can get past those cons (for the most part I can) you will be looking at an AMAZING picture. HDR movies and video games are awesome. I can't get enough. If the CONS are too much for you, just wait a couple more years for them to dial it in better. QD-OLED won't disappoint you

Posted .buniteer,
Thank you for your review of Samsung's S95B TV. Please know you can quickly access your TV Settings by pressing the Settings/Number/Color button (below the power button) on your remote. After using the below pathway a few times, pressing this button will remember and quickly configure frequently used functions.
1. Press the Settings/Number/Color button on your remote.
2. Press the UP directional button on your remote. When you press this button, the Settings menu/Virtual number pad/Color pad are displayed.
3. From the Settings menu, you can quickly set the options of your frequently used functions. For advanced settings, select All Settings.
If you’re hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a receiver, soundbar, or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay
Our 2022 TVs have an audio Pass-Through feature, which allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external device then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay.
On your TV, go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through
Please also be sure you’re running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
I hope these tips help improve your user experience! Should you ever have questions or need help, Samsung is here for you! Just give us a call at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Excellent Tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best tv I’ve ever bought. I had a QLed Samsung before with the One Connect Box. I really liked it but lost it in a house fire. This one didn’t have the box, which I thought would bother me but it doesn’t. Picture quality is excellent. The colors pop and the blacks are deep. The panel is very thin which is a plus. Worth every penny.

Nearly Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture and detail are stunning. I had previously bought the 2021 TCL 65R646 that was on sale and the picture was good and bright, but the Google TV O/S was super slow and the HDMI-CEC only partially worked. I then researched forever and finally bought the Samsung S95B on sale before the Superbowl. I was willing to pay more because this was going to be our TV for quite some time and I didn't want to be frustrated with it like the TCL. I put the S95B and the TCL side and side and set the settings to desired settings for each and the three of us comparing them all agreed that the Samsung was noticeably better. Especially detail where the TCL of a field or shadow or forest or building looked filled in and the detail just wasn't there, compared the Samsung where the detail was there. 9 times out of 10 the Samsung was noticeably better. A few times we couldn't tell the difference. The Samsung powers up/down way, way faster than the TCL. The Samsung works perfectly with my stereo receiver via HDMI-CEC. Once I reset the HDMI-CEC each time I powered on the TCL, then it would work with the stereo, but it would adjust sound on a curve where it's super small increments for the first second or two, but then launched into super fast big increments in loudness. Very strange and annoying. I worked with TCL support but after weeks of useless suggestions, I gave up. The Samsung on the other hand handled HDMI-CEC perfectly and volume changes are smooth and predictable. I did like the dedicated YouTube button on the TCL remote. Also, the TCL can screen save to my select Google Photos which is really nice and I miss that. The Samsung has an Ambient mode but you have to specifically switch to it and it isn't connected to my Google photos. The Samsung Tizen OS is difficult to manage and operate. I'm not a fan, but it's not that bad. The Samsung remote is very small and nice. However, it was an easy choice to return the TCL. Overall, I am very happy with the Samsung and plan to keep it for many years. I wouldn't go back to a cheaper TV and am very satisfied I spent more for this one.

Really Great Picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are hesitant because you heard that OLED TVs need dark rooms, they are wrong. I have my S95B in my medium bright family room with many windows and it is just great. At times, the brightness had to be lowered. But the Black levels stayed inky dark. With settings adjustments, you can make this TV look Vibrantly colorful or exquisitely natural. Only downside is the startup screen takes a few seconds to engage.

A work in progress
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality from 4k sources is great. That is about the end of the pros. Cons: 1. Tizen OS is terrible and slow. 2. Included remote doesn't work half the time, very flaky 3. No Dolby Vision 4. Due to the blue tint/light used in the QD-OLED panel, blacks aren't perfectly black, but appear bluish grey. 5. Fringing of red borders around any text on screen, due to the tech behind the penta/star grid in the QD-OLED. 6. Very poor up-conversion of older 480 or 1080p sources. Worse than my LG B8 OLED. 7. Colors are oversaturated even after updating to the latest firmware in Movie or Filmmaker mode and professional calibration. 8. Super aggressive ABL causes 30% brightness loss between fast moving scenes. Very noticeable and distracting. Takes away from the emersion of anything you are watching. 9. Doesn't have a heatsink layer unlike LG C2, or Sony A95K which helps with the ABL and temporary image retention. Conclusion: QD-OLED shows promise in its picture quality and increased color volume. Early adopters will have to deal with the first round of issues, some of which might be able to be fixed by firmware updates. Sony A95K is the better panel, includes Dolby Vision and has a Heatsink Layer... but doesn't get as bright. Returned this for an LG G2, ill revisit QD-OLED in a few years when the technology has a chance to mature

Very Impressive Samsung Smart TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a much needed update TV for the older smart TV that we have been using for years. I am very very impressed with the ease of use and the picture and sound quality. The new Samsung 65" set is thin and smaller since it does not have the large plastic frame that the old set had. I am very impressed and pleased. The delivery, unboxing and install was done by a very professional team. I am pleased....
