Designed for it. I burned out two cheaper samsungs playing games over last 5 years decided to splurge on a nicer one and see if it lasts. You can also just get a xbox gamepass and play games on it without a xbox. Excellent clarity to the screen. Speakers are not bad for a tv set of speakers but

TV dead within 2 years of purchase

Followed all procedures to hard reset. After a quick search on the internet it appears this is fairly common for Samsungs. This TV is just too expensive to be failing so prematurely.
