Omg what a picture!

I kinda have my heart set on an LG until I started reading reviews, and with my living room having an 8 foot sliding glass door I wanted something that could be a bit brighter. This tv works perfectly. Beyond thrilled with this purchase.

Not Happy

Third time is the charm or the bust for me. Third unit to be delivered and installed on Jan 18, shameful amount of time to get a working TV. You cannot imagine the time I spent on the phone with Best Buy folks during this time trying to get things right. The time I spent waiting at home in the return and delivery process. Buying a TV that works should not be such a hassle. I bought at Best Buy specifically to avoid this very thing!! Am I happy with the way this turned out, you be the judge.

It also came with the 24 month protection but apparently if you cancel ur Best Buy account, they also cancel the guaranty…….im going to have to pay over $500 to repair it

AVOID!

Everything great about this tv is completely overshadowed by the fact that the OS literally is absolutely cracked and barely works, you WILL be frustrated trying to navigate the: menu, settings and sometimes even just trying to open an app because the OS is THAT bad!! Please watch a YT review before purchasing this tv

Best TV ever

The picture clarity is almost 3 dimensional and so life like. It transforms your experience not only with new movies and shows but old tv shows and movies really come to life. I can’t wait to buy another one for another room

The home screen allows switching between source inputs and works incredibly well with my SONOS Arc sound bar and SONOS subwoofer. Only speakers needed in my small condo.

Samsung OLED 65

Their quality better, always have issue with the LG. The thing that set the Samsung a prt id how the color adjust depending in the lighting in the room. I own two Sony Oled and a LG. But Samsung seems to be the better of the 3

Samsung OLED TV

We tend to buy on the higher side and keep our purchases for a bit longer period of time than most perhaps before upgrading to the newer technology. No regrets, we are enjoying our new TV and the new sound bar!!

After playing around with the picture settings...I finally found the perfect settings and have to say.... this TV delivered. Plus we couldn't pass on a $1000 off for this TV. Great deal!

Terrible audio lip synch

Have tried all audio settings on tv and on soundbar to no avail. Contacted Samsung, but they were no help. Considering just returning the tv.

Defaults to TV speaker sound output.

This TV will default to the TV speakers every time you turn it on. It’s not a setting, I called tech support and they confirmed that it what it does. Also, there are Samsung help forums that indicate that this occurred after a firmware update in July 2022. It does not matter if your equipment is connect any input, the sound output will always return to the built-in speakers. There is nothing you can do to change it, no settings.

Samsung updates are getting worse

Power went out and it forced updated and nerfed the nits and my return just ended! Still looks great but now I’m wondering if I should have saved $1500 and went with the LG C1.

It's unfortunate to hear you're not fully satisfied with Samsung's S95B TV. To address your brightness issue, please try the below troubleshooting steps:
1) Ensure your S95B TV's firmware is up to date with version 1304.1, which includes picture quality and performance updates. You can check firmware by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
2) Disable some of the TV's energy efficiency functions, as these will automatically adjust your picture and may be causing your screen to appear darker than preferred.
3) Check to see if Contrast Enhancer has been enabled. This setting automatically adjusts your TV's brightness. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer
a. If Contrast Enhancer hasn’t been enabled, please see if Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, or Motion Lighting have been enabled and disable them. Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > turn off Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting
