Picture is great under v1205 but the OS sucks

It's unfortunate to hear your S95B is stuck in a bootloop. Please make sure your firmware is up to date with version 1211.2, as this includes various performance updates.
If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.
If the issue persists after performing this update, please also try the following steps which may help resolve this:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
2) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
3) TVs which can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.
If the issue persists after these steps, the TV may need service. Please call us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist with a solution or replacement. Amazing all around…..but only 65

All exceeded my expectations, i took back the 75” neo 8k because of how slopy it operated and was cheply made. The seperate box for the “brain” just slid on three plastic screws to be held. When connecting cables you had to be careful to not “pop” it off and drop it (wall mount). The s95 is waaaaaay thinner, built in connections and picture/sound/operating system are ten times better for 1/2 the cost. The “one connect box” on neo 8k is hot garbage(literally gets hot as hell), if you dont mount on back of tv you have to munt on back of stand or figure something out, stupid. The oled 65 is pricey for the size but i would buy it again and recommend it to anyone. Samsung lives up to their highly held reputation with this tv, only downside is the biggest is 65”

Review from a "two month" S95B owner....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned my 65" S95B for two months now, so I thought my feed back might prove helpful to others. First off, I am a home theatre enthusiast and I take pride on having both a good video and audio setup. Been doing this for 20+ years. As technology has improved, I've made many, many changes and upgrades along the way. So hear me when I way that I love my S95B! After having had both (recent) LG and Sony OLED's in the past, I can honestly say that the "Samsung haters" out there are just spouting nonsense (at least with this particular TV). Yes, I agree. Samsung has had a somewhat spotty past, but they have killed it with the S95B. (Especially after the 1211.2 software update fixing Filmmaker Mode to correctly reflect creator's intent.) Here's the important part -- These new QD-OLED TV's (both from Samsung and Sony this year) are the marriage of the best of the two TV technologies available. Using an OLED panel for the instant and total control of each individual pixel (and the deep, deep blacks and contrast ratio that that come with it) along with Quantum Dots for the (superb!) color range, brightness and color volume is genius. I would encourage anyone on-the-fence to actually spend some time watching this TV before passing judgement. (And NO....Reading/watching reviews on YouTube or spending 15 minutes at Best Buy, watching things on Vivid mode with bright overhead store lights doesn't count..,.lol.) Try to actually watch it in someone's home and then TRUST YOUR EYES. I think the picture is flat-out wonderful (preferably in Filmmaker Mode, but the other modes are there if you are the kind of person who looks for the traditional Samsung "pop". That is not my cup-of-tea, but it's there). Really turns Movie Night into something special at our house. Hope this helps!

It has an outstanding picture with 1080p satellite input and even old black and white Perry Mason from the late 50s. Sound quality is very good. The Smart features work well and had no difficulties connecting to Amazon Prime video and Disney+.

If it wasn't for researching calibration settings over on rtings.com to get some game mode plus I would of never found it. My PS5 looks amazing playing CoD MWII. The only complaint I had was unboxing and getting a good grip on it while mounting the base without torqueing the frame.

Brilliant Picture, UI needs an overhaul

For now it is absolutley king of OLEDs. The only issue I have is the speed of the Tizen UI. Aside from that it is simply outstanding and a very innovative piece of technology to introduce into an already excelent looking class of TV.

Video "stutter" at high speeds

Samsung products have always been good to me. But I do want to give a huge shout out to the Geek Squad that delivered and set this up. It was well worth the extra $200. This TV is as good as I assumed it would be. Highly recommended.
