Do Not Buy A Samsung Ad Machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV and it is the single worst purchase I have ever made. I wish I would have returned it. The majority of the home screen is a giant ad that cannot be turned off. This is incredibly frustrating to buy a TV this expensive and have ads run all over the screen. The motion blur settings are mostly locked and can't easily be changed like other brands. The mounting options are terrible because they made the screen paper thin and fragile, there is a bulky box at the bottom where everything is located and where the mounts go, so the mounting is visible below the TV. Every other day the TV cant connect to the sound bar that is always plugged in (my older Samsung TV never had this issue. The TV hub in general is bulky and bloated. It takes four to five clicks to just change an input.

Oh and 8 months in the TV completely stopped working and had to be replaced by Samsung. Which they did do but took 3 weeks to complete the process....

Faulty power board and parts buyer beware

Buyer beware...not the standard samsung quality

This one, a lemon from day one. After 5 visits from Geek Squad it now works, but the image has colors that are unstable, red in particular shifts and is fuzzy in the image. what a disappointment. Do not buy this TV.

Geek squad came out to look at on 7-21-2023, needs a computer board they didn’t have. Just want the tv replaced. Please someone help us.

Don't buy it if you value your time

I'm already waiting a week for it to be repaired. Techs finally made it to me today just to "diagnose". Now they need to order parts. Samsung doesn't want to replace or refund it. Terrible quality. If you value your time and money and want a TV - don't waste it on this garbage.

Random restarts

Very disturbing when watching sports. Also, screen optimization messages will appear at random without any way to control it. Samsung needs to fix this.

It’s unfortunate to hear your S95B TV is randomly restarting itself. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
2) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
3) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.
4) TVs which can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bent screen, software updates that make the TV worse with each update., horrendous onboard speakers that rattle and what's worse is that they just released a software update (1303.2) to combat the deflective rattling speakers by limiting the bass output so now the speakers still rattle and the sound output is even worse than before. the software is also horrible and very slow and buggy. This TV should not have been released to the public!!!

Sometimes, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation – laid on its side or tilted – during transit, damage could have been done.
