Thank you for reading my review today, I hope it helps make the right decision for you. Starting with the unboxing experience. Be careful.. The box comes as you expect with Samsung fully padded up and ready to be opened in a way to protect the T.V. This is no ordinary T.V. though. First the T.V. is so thin and will flex when trying to lay it on it's face to put the stand on the bottom. You need to be super extra careful and have a partner or two to assist with the unboxing experience. Honestly if you read up to this point in the review I would say you are pretty much good as this was my only small gripe with the new T.V. Once we move into performance this is exactly what you want. The best of the best in every category. The picture color palette is second to none blowing every one of my other sets including T.V.s purchased this year to shame. The smart functionality goes a step beyond with picture in picture getting a well deserved upgrade/look. As well as features like Google Duo which was perfect to use doing our latest family get together where a member of our family could not attend. One of the tests I like to run for black levels is to play Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 because it is so dark in that scene it's hard to see anything even on a great set. This OLED made it look amazing, stunning etc. everything you want in a T.V. Simply put if you want to sacrifice nothing and you are okay with only a 65inch or smaller. This is the T.V. for you. I highly recommend this T.V.

After reading the reviews of the OLED technology and comparing them with other types of TV's, I decided to take a look at the Samsung product. I have had experience with both LG and Samsung over the years and felt that either would have been a great choice for us, but I chose the Samsung because of familiarity with the controls and the brand. I cannot be happier. The picture is remarkable and the TV itself is thin and lighter than my older LED's. The colors are vibrant and the contrast is perfect for us. We purchased last year's model and even though there were a minimal amount of "improvements" made to this year's version, I cannot say I would have noticed the difference. This TV is the best one I've ever owned.

Broke the literal day after I could no longer return it. Nonexistent quality control as expected from Samsung. Even worse service as it took dozens of calls and multiple reschedules just to get a repair date.

I've had this TV going on 5 months now and it is superb. Refreshrate is great never had issues with motionblur, colors are vivid, brightness is more than enough especially in a dark room its a little intense. Sound is actually fantastic for built-in TV speakers. I use a sound bar for the low and mid bass but the highs and voices on the TV speakers sound great quality. There are a couple areas I'd like to see improvement on. First is the OS interface/ settings layout. It's clunky. Not very smooth and intuitive in my opinion and I've heard others have the same comments. Though on the newer models this has been revamped and improved from the reviews I've read. If its just the software I'd like to seem them apply the new OS to these models. Second would be the HDR and colors/blacks contrast. 4K TV and streaming seem fine but when using my PS5 for games it took awhile to settle on the settings and I still have to adjust it every so often. The true blacks are there but the contrast with HDR doesn't quite have the full scale. When the settings are so that brighter areas have vivid saturated colors, the details of the darker areas are mostly blacked out. When the settings are tweaked to bring out the details in the dark areas the normally brighter areas start to get washed out. Sometimes you have to compromise and find your happy medium. Even on the same game I may have to readjust for different scenes. Final Notes: - put time into learning and understanding how to calibrate and change the picture settings. I did an initial calibration but soon found the picture wasn't quite right for different media. I tried a few other methods for calibration to find a good universal setting but found myself always needing to change a few things to get the picture optimized when I switched between gaming, streaming, movies, etc... worth the effort and time though. Once you know how you can have the picture looking amazing for everything you are viewing. - the screen is flexible glass and the TV is heavy. BE CAREFUL! My TV mount has a swivel but the screen is just too flimsy to put pressure on so I either grab the bottom of the TV or reach around and grab the mount itself to turn the screen. - if I paid the MSRP of $3,000 Plus I would probably give this TV about four stars because of the things I mentioned above. However with current prices being half of that because it's last year's model the technology and performance is well worth the money

Flawed OS with a phenomenal picture (after tweaks)

I've had the TV for over a week now and it's pretty phenomenal overall. But first, a few points of contention (cons): -- Tizen is not great. The fact it defaults to audio previews of the Samsung TV content it is trying to cram down your throat is something I consider utterly aggravating. The OS is generally responsive enough, but I try to avoid it given how little control the user has over the general interface and what is there or not. I will mostly avoid the native Smart TV functionality and use my Xbox for TV/ Netflix/ etc.. -- No dedicated input button on the remote - Switching from my PC to my Xbox is more cumbersome and annoying than it needs to be. You have to navigate through the settings to the very not intuitive "Connected Devices" page to do so; or set up the voice assistant to navigate you there. I use that now and say "Switch to PC" (or Xbox) with the google assistant to do my input switching. -- Playing movies with a 4k Blu-ray, I noticed some very light judder and stuttering in a few slow panning shots while watching Skyfall the other night. Action scenes looked spectacular, and filmmaker mode is generally pretty decent in terms of color and picture tone, but the judder caught my eye once or twice. I may need to tweak the settings more to reduce this. Now what I love about this TV (pros): -- Picture quality: OH MY LANTA. You will not be disappointed here. The panel is exceptionally bright and vibrant. Straight out of the box, too vibrant actually - but after spending some time adjusting the white balance and making the overall picture warmer, it is now (mostly) color-accurate. The greens and reds in particular will pop out at you, and yellows and golds are richer than I have ever seen. Fire actually looks HOT in certain movie scenes and in games. There is also a hefty amount of reconfigurability in terms of overall picture color-scape in the settings that is better than 90% of other TVs I have seen out there. -- Gaming - speaking of games, this is where the TV truly shines for me. Native 120hz support, full HDR10+ (No Dolby vision, sadly), variable refresh rate (g-sync compatible), and very low input lag make this the best TV I have used for gaming. I primarily play games like Destiny, Cyberpunk (Ray tracing + this TV in HDR = Chef's kiss), racing games, and RPGs. Between the response time and picture quality in game mode, many of my games look even better than they already did on my previous 4k LCD. -- Sound quality: Admittedly not the most important thing since most will slap on a sound bar, but for native TV speakers, I give it a solid 7. They are not bad at all and have some punch - just don't expect to get any deep bass out of it. Overall for what I use this TV for, it is a very solid buy and blows my previous 4k Samsung out of the water - Tizen is a dud for me, but the picture makes up for it - just make sure to adjust the colors and white balance if you care about anything resembling natural colors!

Had lightning knock out my last Samsung TV that was only a few years old. I decided to go with this 65” OLED. The picture quality is breathtaking. Especially when viewing 4K video. The color and contrast are outstanding. When I have people over they all comment on how it’s the best picture they’ve ever seen. Looks great in a bright or dark room. The Smart TV app has allowed me skip on purchasing another Roku that was also destroyed by lightning. It has all the Apps you’ll need including ESPN+ for sports fans. The only issue I can’t resolve is finding a remote code that will work with my current cable provider (Charter/Spectrum). I now need one remote for my TV and one for cable. Unfortunately it’s frustrating to adjust the sound since the cable remote can’t (only the TV remote works) Perhaps this is because it’s such a new TV. Otherwise I’d highly recommend this purchase.

Everybody that sees it says it's the best image theyve ever seen. It's a very good television. My only complaint is the operating system could be organized a little better and it would be nice to be able to get rid of some of the clutter on the homescreen, but its not something you see for long and the image clarity and color brightness is so superior it doesnt detract from the experience at all

First, I just want to say WOW. This is my first OLED TV, Samsung has taken the best of OLED and the best of QLED, and combined them to make a very impressive TV. Add the quantum dot technology and you have QDOLED, I'm blown away by the color and contrast. Best tv I've ever owned. I was considering the new 2023 model S90C, but the S95B has better sound built in 60 watts instead of 40 watts, and the S90C has the same panel as the S95B. And the price $1599.00, Couldn't pass it up.

Had this TV for a few months. The picture is so much better than the LG C2 that I returned for issues I had with connectivity and other functions. The S95B isn't without its flaws, but the picture is stellar. It is great in a light room or dark room. Easy to use for normal stuff but has nice features that you can dig into if you want to nerd out. The OS isn't great and I'm sure it will get worse over time, but I mostly use a Roku anyway. It was easy to calibrate. The speaker isn't great, but I'm sure most people buying this are using a surround or soundbar.

I bought this due to the reviews of it being the best gaming tv and it really is. Only thing is loss of dolby vision. But with hdr tone mapping, it's the same result without dolby vision game lag. This tv has game mode plus which adds little lag with that 60fps feel. Great for older games. Awesome vrr but most important, ALL 4 ports are 2.1 so they all support VRR. Sony has 2 only and one is earc. I highly recommend for gamers. Movie wise is just as amazing. Oh and this tv is bright as hell so the hdr is strong. Love it.

I wish I could give this TV 5 stars. The picture quality on this tv is fantastic. I am coming from a 4+ year old TV so that's my baseline, but I can't imagine a clearer picture with better color saturation, within it's price range. Especially on sale. But the software (the smart tv portion, not the settings) is horrible. I had to disconnect it from the internet and use a third party solution (like amazon firestick, nvidia shield, apple tv, etc). Switching between menu items on its native software is so laggy it's unusable (and I have 2GB Fiber service connection). Tried wired and wireless and they're both just as bad. The remote is even worse. Half the time when you press the button nothing happens. The other half of the time you press the remote and it just starts scrolling through menu items and won't stop. It's too bad because I like the idea of it having a "solar powered" batter charger on the remote - I think that's pretty slick. All in all, if you don't mind using a third party streaming player, you'll be happy. But I can't recommend it due to the lack of care they demonstrated with the horrible software and remote. Update...After downloading Smarthings App, the remote has stopped working. Samsung support is sending me a new remote, saying the remote that came with the TV is not the correct model remote. I can get SmartThings app to find the TV, but I cannot get the app to control the TV. The next bad design is that you cannot get to the TV's menu settings, manually, via the 1 navigation button on the TV.

I have never purchased a TV in this price range before but I have had ok 4k TV's. The difference from what I had before to this is staggering. Colors on this tv are amazing but more impressive are the blacks. Dark scenes look amazing and it gets very bright. My only grip is it does not support Dolby vision but her content still looks very good. The sound is also pretty amazing considering the size. All in all, very happy with my purchase.

    Samsung QD 65S95B OLED review

Samsung 65S95B review Background - I have 2 LG CX’s that I love! I have adjusted to perfection. - I have gave away my Samsung 8500 led with one connect box, that I had a love hate relationship with, as the arc control would be so intermittent that every 3 days or so I would have to unplug the one connect box to get it working again, so I said never ever a Samsung again. - I purchased a Sony 65A80J, I did not want to spend the extra on the A90J for the very little bump it had over the A80J. - I use Roku ultras forced to DV (Dolby Vision) output for best results! I was a week within my return window for the A80J and I have spent 2 months tweaking the adjustments on the Sony and finally got it to the best it would ever get. But I still did not like what I was getting from some content, even after reading everything and talking to lots of others, with my setup and using built in apps besides the Roku ultra set to different ways. I could not get the Sony to produce perfection like the LG’s CX’s (less artifacts), not possible at all!! Yes the LG’s internal APPS looked way worse than Sony’s, no denying that. The last straw was artifacts that I saw playing certain demo material, I could get rid of it by tweaking motion stuff on the Sony but had to change it back to view other. I also could not get the sharpness to actually show anything from moving it’s slider with my setup, major downside!! Yes you can use reality creation but it does not cover the entire picture like sharpness. JUST A NOTE I had a perfect panel, no pink, no nothing. I did see some image retention from time to time that I don’t see on my LS’s (I found this interesting as the Sony was in a much cooler place. The panels on the LG’s and A80J get warm for sure!! I also had arc audio control issues and had to restart the Sony about every 3 weeks, this sucked because it was bringing back bad memories of the Samsung (and I never had this problem with my LG’s using 3 different audio devices). The google OS is for a fact sluggish!! Only 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and one is arc. I have no intension on tweaking settings for different content that I don’t do with my LG’s. So basically the Sony’s are way overrated!!! SAMSUNG 65S95B QD OLED REVIEW So after saying never ever a Samsung again, and seeing all the positive reviews, and the benefits of everything the Samsung had over the Sony, like 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, that even the new Sony QD OLED A95k will NOT have, and you know for a fact everything coming out will just about use. Also seems like $1,000 more, and I know I will not like the picture in some content like A80J, makes the Sony not even in my radar. So I said let’s go for the Samsung S95B. I I got the email that my S95B is in for pickup so I reset the Sony to factory defaults and returned it, I picked up the Samsung. I used the box to rest the Samsung on, to install the base (pull the plastic from the base before screwing), put it on my tv stand, plugged everything in (easy as one HDMI port is arc and 2.1 and all the rest are HDMI 2.1 ports). I looked for bending in the panel with my family member and we saw just perfection!!!!! I pulled the film from the screen and also the very thin film from the side (don’t forget the side edge film!). Turned it on with the PS5 and just sat their wowing at the Samsung perfection!!! I then put on movie content and like wow, nothing like I have ever seen (just like the other reviewers), - blacks are black - shadow detail is just awesome - colors just pop - Movie watching, old and HD programming is just WOW. - the only thing I see that I also have on my LG’s CX’s but not on the Sony is banding, not a big deal. - The ports are on the right side looking at the screen that is where I need them. - The remote is just perfect with solar recharge and a USB port just in case to charge it if you don’t have light for the solar. - After watching for 8 hours, to my surprise, the panel does not get hot or warm!!!!! - PS5 on this looks stunning (like never seen before) and Samsung has a game bar (press and hold the play/pause button on the Samsung remote to bring up the game bar) - Out of the box is pretty much spot on picture settings. - Wires hide nice behind the set in it’s built in wire guides and covers for the stand. - Viewing angles are infinite, meaning no loss in anything at any viewing angle!! - The OS is quicker than the Sony google. And comparing LG, Samsung, and Sony , all 3 have their sluggish moments. - Using the Samsung apps or Roku ultra produces the same high picture quantity, not found in LG or Sony. - I can use the Samsung remote to control other devices (Roku, ect….) This is the next gen tv we have been waiting for, and that usually comes at very high prices!! At 3K for the 65” I do find high but not like other new tech that starts out at 10K plus. I am certainly not going to get rid of my CX’s as they are beautiful, but this Samsung QD 65S95B OLED takes it to the next level indeed. Don’t wait for the Sony QD OLED, I was not impressed by the lack of see above, Samsung is where it’s at this year. I said no more Samsung and here I am highly recommending them, chewing my no more Samsung words. Thank you for reading and thank you Samsung for making an awesome next gen TV.

Where do I begin? So I was in the market for a TV and researching OLED 65” TV’s for a month. It came down to these 3 OLEDs, Samsung S95B, LG G2, Sony A90J. I chose this TV based on picture quality and price point. The G2 was nice and it had good hardware and a nice sturdy frame but I did not like the picture tone and the lack of brightness compared to the S95B, the Sony also has an amazing picture and very comparable to the S95B but I didnt like its thicker frame compared the lazer thin S95B frame and the its was around $2799 va $1799. I paired the S95B with the Sonos Arc + Sonos One + Sub. I absolutely love this combination for my bedroom. I recommend the Standard Picture as far as optimal picture settings. This TV is 9.5/10 in my opinion. Wasnt a 10/10 because the frame can be more sturdy and solid. Samsung absolutely nailed it being that its the first attempt at QD-OLED technology (blacks are deep and spectacular). You will not regret this purchase!

I got this a few days before Halloween 2022. This hands down is the best tv I've ever owned. If you are a gamer, this is one of the best if not the best out there. I know this year there will be a 77 inch version coming out of this TV. But how much will it cost and how long will you have to wait. So i would say if you have the money. I wouldn't hesitate buying this. It's extremely impressive. There is another qd/oled in the Sony A95K. But it's also like 1000 bucks more. Maybe that tv is a tad better. It does have dolby vision and the samsung s95b does not. But you r not gonna notice not having it. I just don't see paying the extra 1000 bucks for the sony when they r pretty much the same tv. This TV shines in every aspect. Like i said before, especially for gaming. It's incredible. I got it on the 65 inch on sale for 1799.99. Amazing value. But i would still pay more for it. If you have the money. Only negative i would say is. It was a pain to mount because it's paper thin. So u really gotta be careful with it. Just make sure you have a dependable person with you when setting it up. Other then that it's been a amazing tv so far

We've tried to be Vizio fans for years, but they do not make good smart tvs. The last two vizio smart tv's we've bought have had constant connection issues, like every single day. They are beyond frustrating! After doing quite a bit of researched, this fit what we wanted to spend and it had so many good reviews. And thought it was time to move into the OLED format. This is a great looking TV, it is SO incredibly thin. Like beyond thin. Actually, while it is not an issue, it is one thing I am not crazy about, It is so thin it just feels so fragile. I don't like moving it much because I worry about breaking or bending it. That is just me though. As for the picture, it's incredible. It is so sharp, bright and high quality. The brightness is one thing I really notice. Everything we watch on it looks great. The sound is surprisingly good for TV speakers, We just bought a Sonos sound system, so the sound is as good as the picture. The only thing I don't like the best (besides the scary thinness) is the interface, the home page. I guess I am use to Android and this one is just not as nice. It's not as good at showing recent shows/networks as android, but it's not terrible. That is the only thing I an think of that could be improved. Overall, could not be happier with our choice. Don't see how you would regret buying this one. Highly recommend.

Beautiful TV with gorgeous picture and ridiculously clean screen. No dse or pink tinting and easily the widest viewing angles of any other tech. Samsung did a great job recently fixing its filmmaker mode on a recent update but the TV still needs a lot of work. Tizen is still slow and brutal to use but luckily I use all external devices so not a huge deal for me but may be for some. The auto color space function does not work and needs to be switched manually for each content when necessary. They need to add a dynamic tone mapping toggle like their competitors offer as there is still some undefeatable mapping happening still even in filmmaker mode. They need to fix motion controls as well as even when off there is still some level applied which still causes some artifacts not to mention they are still easily in third place when it comes to their motion processing. They also need to concede and offer Dolby Vision as the rest of the market has already jumped on the DV train. I have a very much love hate relationship with this TV. It has great picture that can really wow at times but still has lots of bugs that just kill the user experience. It really is the next level TV tech but just feels rushed or just poorly implemented on Samsungs part. It can easily be the TV of the year with a little more attention and fixes to the software but as it stands now I am still considering returning for an LG G2. Even as amazing and more capable as the QD OLED is, unless side by side, LG still gives an amazing picture, but with better software. So choice is best picture, clean panels and great game mode with cruddy software, features that don’t work right and other bugs that make for a frustrating experience vs a not as good but still impressive picture, slight panel lottery and equally great game mode with better software with features that work correctly? I will see what other fixes they offer between now and when my return window closes and continue weighing my options.

This TV is a culmination of significant improvements to OLED displays over the years. The picture is unrivaled, it's razor thin, and the risk of burn-in is significantly diminished due to the panel technology as well as software based elements such as pixel shift. Other innovations include the remote, recharged via solar or USB-C, and the ability to use it similarly to Samsung's "The Frame" panel, though this doesn't have works of classical art, instead using quirky, fun, moving designs to keep your panel fresh. The only thing I dislike about this TV is the User Interface. It is bafflingly clunky and hard to use. I had a previous Samsung that simply displayed the inputs and Smart TV features at the bottom of the screen when the Home button was pressed. When you press the Home button with this TV, you're taken to a slow, poorly designed page where ads are loaded before your services or inputs. Moving from a streaming application to a video game system is especially laborious, requiring nearly 5 or 6 button presses. That doesn't sound like a lot, but it starts to grate on the nerves after a while. This may be intentional on the part of Samsung, as they desperately want you to use their smartphone app to control the TV. While this is easier, it requires a separate device, and also has its own connection issues. All in all, this is a fantastic TV, but it does have UI issues, and could use some additional user capability.

After two years with the Samsung S95B, I can confidently say it’s been an excellent experience overall. The HDR performance is outstanding—vivid colors, deep blacks, and impressive contrast that really elevate movies and games. Gaming on this display has been smooth and responsive, with no noticeable latency or performance issues. It handles fast-paced action well for me. While early software updates were a bit of a headache, stability and performance improved significantly with later versions. I’ve had no issues since. Burn-in was a concern when deciding on a QD-OLED offering, but after two years of regular use I haven’t seen any signs of burn-in. The only downside is the Smart TV interface—it’s sluggish, unintuitive, and cluttered. I’ve opted to use an Apple TV instead, which delivers a much better user experience. Sound quality is mediocre. Passable if you don’t mind it. But better when paired with a dedicated audio system. Overall, I’ve been happy with the S95B. It has been a worthwhile and enjoyable investment.
