    No Audio out from One Connect Box

    TV is great, One Connect Box is not. Getting no audio out of the One Connect Box. It didn't work out of the box. Samsung Tech Support does not have service technicians that will provide service in my area, so they are offering a refund. They won't just ship me another One Connect Box as a first step to see if that fixes the problem. Maybe Sony has better support???

    I wanted to love this TV!

    I really wanted to love this TV. However, within a day the TV started muting itself every 10 seconds . On and off on and off. Factory reset did not fix it. Samsung support says it’s a defective TV most likely. Barely had the TV for 24 hours before it started having issues. The picture is amazing. So I would recommend the TV despite my having a defective TV.

    Not a bad tv but colors are over saturated and saw some blooming and sd upscale is sub par

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your S95D TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

      If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.

      Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:

      1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
      2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
      3. Eco: Provided to save energy
      4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
      5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      We also recommend tuning your picture with Expert Settings such as Color Booster, Peak Brightness, Contrast Enhancer, and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).

      We appreciate your feedback on the image quality of your S95D TV. You may want to enable some Intelligent Mode options, as these recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience.

      Go to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings, then turn the below options on or off to best meet your needs:

      Adaptive Picture (2 options)
      - Optimized: Optimizes brightness & provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition & content you're viewing.
      - EyeComfort: Syncs sunrise/sunset times and ambient light intensity. After sunset, the mode provides warmer colors and lower brightness. The sunrise and sunset times can manually be changed.

      Additionally, there are image adjustments you can make to optimize your picture to suit your preferences. Your TV has several Picture Modes to choose from allowing you to enjoy content in optimal conditions. Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode.

      I apologize for the inconveniences you have had with the inconsistent sound volume.

      The Auto Volume function automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On

      You may also want to perform a Sound Test under Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test

    Defective out of the box.

    I received a defective unit. Out of the box, the TV will not display content from pc or gaming consoles. I contacted Samsung support immediately and an in-home repair was scheduled for 5 days later. That’s today. But the repair tech was not able to complete the repair because he was given the wrong parts. Now I have to wait multiple, additional, days for parts to be ordered and I have to make myself available for another scheduled in-home repair. I’m seriously considering returning this unit and getting an LG. I’ve had multiple Samsung TVs in the past, but they might have just lost a customer.

    Open box ratings are a scam

    Buyer be ware, even if best buy rates an open box as excellent, only means it has a power cord and maybe a TV in the box even though the website clearly states all items such as manuals, remotes, say hardware screws are in the box when they labeled it as an excellent category open box item. When i questioned the store manager, he stated that corporate only requires it to have a power cord to be rated excellent condition, not what the best buy website states.

    Dont buy anything with a one connect box. After a week the picture died but tv stilll had sound.

    When I unboxed it the hdmi box had a rattle like a loose screw was inside. Plugged it in & while it worked, I could see a green/blue tint around certain objects. It may have been the anti glare technology. I love Samsung products but had to return this one.

    Beware will not connect to Samsung server

    Had to buy a roku stick to stream. There are mass amounts of complaints online regarding the error cannot connect to Samsung server without resolve. Samsung tech support kept saying it was my router evem though all me devices other than the tv are working as they’re supposed to. I will be returning this thing and getting a Sony.

    Quality Picture

    I’m not a fan of Samsung’s tiny remote. The tv has a high quality picture though. On the initial settings on the TV the picture brightness adjust bright and dim seemingly randomly and the sound goes up and down sporadically on occasion. I have to figure that part out. This tv might be a little too bright as well.

    Purchased an open box and saved quite a lot of money. It was in excellent shape. The TV is excellent. Picture quality is unbelievable. I wish there was more 4K content to really show it's capability. I was wondering about the remote as my older TCL's don't have an intuitive remote for streaming. The LG remote is both intuitive and ergonomic.

    Sound defect

    Purchased a little over a month ago, picture is great and the sound is good with the soundbar. there is a flaw some where in the sound though. When changing channels there is a slight hesitation and again a few seconds later. Have talked to Samsung support and they claim its the cable box, but I have two other Samsung tv's one with a sound bar and they do not have that hesitation when changing the channel. Have done all updates. Sothe problem persist and would like to know the solution to it.

    My husband shopped for a very long time before deciding on the Samsung "65 OLED. He was between this tv and the Sony Bravia. What completely sold us on this tv the "brain box" that this tv offered. The box with just 1 cord is INGenius!!! We are so pleased with everything with this tv. The picture is so perfect, and the no glare is amazing!

    I watched hours of comparison videos prior my purchase of this TV. The "cons" of reduced contrast and loss of picture quality due to the Anti glare coating MIGHT be valid in some use cases, However in mine it's the difference between watch a tv program (with reduced contrast) , or staring at a reflection of my truck in the driveway. 100% happy with my purchase:)
