Make the purchase it's worth it.

The backlight in some areas are noticeable. It is mild enough to be ok with it. It is worth mentioning that I had to make two returns: the first TV came with bad backlight areas; the second came with several vertical array of bad pixels; the third and last one (mounted and keeping) also has some backlight areas that are somewhat notieable. I’m tired of returning and reinstalling, so here goes a 4 stars for it.

It's unfortunate to hear of your initial experiences with The Frame TV, and we appreciate your feedback on the image you're seeing. To ensure your picture is fully optimized, please be sure your TV's up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions, as these will automatically adjust your picture and may cause your screen to appear brighter or darker than preferred.
Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > turn off Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, and Motion Lighting
