It’s slim, has amazing resolution, and is so powerful we no longer have any need for secondary devices - even cable boxes. 10/10 recommend.

Let's start with the main reason people spend on these: the FRAME!!! The Samsung frames are quite limited in terms of choice, size, and color. The other reason: the ART! I spent hours curating my own collection of VERY EXPENSIVE (60 bucks per year) of art. Guess what? It all disappeared a few weeks later. That's right, in addition to what you are spending on the TV, you get to spend time hunting for new art every few weeks because the collections keep changing. Fun! Got a favorite? Good luck trying to download it. Here is another reason to hate this TV: The impossible to replace remote it comes with stopped working after 3 months. My tip: You can get 4k art on any regular flat screen for about half the price. The reasons for spending so much on this TV was access to a better network of high def art selection, and that was a waste of money. The only unique feature this dumb TV has is literally the mouning flush to the wall feature. You can get a good carpenter to jimmy rig some way of mounting the tv close to the wall, and spare yourself the headache.

Unlike most other TVs, it is attractive even when it is not on. With the art you can add for the screen, it has the look of real art.

Save your money. Not an upgrade to 2021 model

I have a 2021 Frame and bought this thinking it’d be an upgrade. I rarely leave reviews but I felt I had to as I just can’t believe all the 5 star reviews I’m seeing. Yes, the art mode is great with the new matte feature. That’s the only nice thing I can say about it. The picture quality for TV, movies, sports, is HORRIBLE. Something you’d be fine with for maybe a $200 TV, not $2k. I’ve tried every setting imaginable to get it right. The colors are muted, picture is dull for movies, weird discolorations sometimes, could go on and on. For sports it’s even worse. I’ve had it for 2 weeks now, and could be more disappointed. Save your money, find a 2021 model if you can. The art mode is still incredible.. but more importantly you can still use it as an actual TV.

It's unfortunate to hear you're not fully satisfied with The Frame TV. Please do ensure your TV's firmware is up to date with version 1211.2 which includes various performance and image quality updates. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.
