    Didn't realize I'd have to drill a huge hole in my wall to be able to make this look like an actual frame. Ended up returning it. Nice idea though when I'm able to use it correctly.

    Great living room tv that looks fancy above a fire

    Not a very dramatic review but we love the flush of it against the wall. It can feel like a piece of art. However, the “smartness” of it gets laggy a lot, we have one broken pixel that annoys me for the price I paid and I’ve had issues with very pixelated blacks.

      You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

    It takes awhile to adjust the Smart TV aspects such as going to the Home screen to do things like switch from streaming to HDMI connections. Overall, I have been happy with the quality of the picture and capability to display portraits when not wayching TV.

    It’s a great tv but sometimes do not keep the picture. And you have to pay too much to have the arts.

    Bad service, unreliable quality make a bad mix

    Worked fine until just over a year after purchase (manufacturer warranty is 1 year) then a wide purple vertical strip appeared, looks like maybe a back light failed. Samsung service was pretty bad. Couldn’t get online service request to work. Requested service through unit and got a call back with an automated message saying office was closed. Finally got a person on the phone, the next day they called back and said well we don’t have anyone for service in your area so lots of luck have a nice life. Paid a lot for a tv that only worked well for around 18 months

    Looks fantastic on the wall... needs improvement

    It's pretty! And let's be honest, that's the main reason we purchased it. First one out of the box malfunctioned big time. The replacement is doing better, but it is not without it's snags. The Artmode doesn't always function as advertised and the TV seems to get confused about when to display art and when to be on and occasionally it just gives up and turns off altogether (I'm aware that it does have settings that allow it to turn off altogether, but ours ignores those settings and turns off when it feels like it it). It also struggles with switching to the PS5 and using the ARC for the soundbar. Altogether there is much that needs improving, but it's pretty on the wall and I appreciate that the remote doesn't need batteries!

      Hi,

      I’m sorry to hear your Frame TV is turning itself off. While this issue will be corrected with an upcoming firmware update, you can prevent this issue with the following:

      Disable Night Mode
      1. Navigate to the Art Home Screen, as Art Mode settings can only be accessed from here. If art is currently displayed on the screen, press Return on the remote to go to the Home screen or navigate to Art Mode from wherever you are on the TV.
      2. Scroll all the way down to Art Mode Options, then highlight Night Mode. Press Enter on the remote to switch Night Mode from On to Off.
      3. Extend the Sleep After time. This feature will turn off Art Mode after a set amount of time if no motion is detected around the TV. Sleep After is also located under Art Mode Options and can be set from 5 minutes to 4 hours. Select the Sleep After icon to select the desired time.

      Check the Sleep Timer
      The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer

      If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer have been enabled and disable it.
      - Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off
      - Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > System Manager > Time > Off Timer

      Update firmware
      You can check to see what version your TV is using and if there's an update available by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now.

      If you're still noticing HDMI/ARC issues after performing any available firmware updates, please also verify you are using a high-speed HDMI cable with Ethernet Channel (sometimes called HDMI HEC cable). Also be sure to enable HDMI-eARC in the Expert Settings menu.

    TV freezes all the time and doesn't behave well with some apps (Max, as an example). Considering hanging my ancient plasma back up. It has a better picture anyway.
