I’d love to use my TV, but the Magnolia designers and installers can’t make it work. Probably not Samsungs fault either. Magnolia contracts with people to work under their brand. IN CHICAGO THEY ARE HORRIBLE

This TV has the worst banding I have ever seen. Samsung warranty service is a nightmare. The TV sits flush against the wall and looks great when it is turned off.

    Just Do It

Buy it, hang it, enjoy it. I've had my eye on the Samsung Frame TV for a long time. In a smaller space that serves multiple functions I always found our TV to be such a big, black eyesore on the wall. This eliminates all of that while also providing top-notch viewing and sound. Art Mode: The No Gap wall mount is great. It sits flush like a picture frame and the art is a nice feature to have. With that said you won't fool anyone thinking it's an art piece on the wall. It still gives off a TV glow unless it's the brightest part of the day. We're currently going to renovate the space it's in with custom built-in's and fireplaces so maybe that will help when it's not hung over a tv stand, but don't expect a matte art piece on the wall. Oddly, an unexpected feature I do love is the solar panel in the remote. Indoor or window lighting and it will charge right up. For such a tiny thing I love that we won't have to search for batteries when it's low. It's one of those features you didn't know you needed or wanted.

      Lance,

Thank you for purchasing The Frame TV and for sharing your review. We appreciate you sharing your experience with not hearing any sound from your unit. There are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

      1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try cable connection again.

      2) Set Sound Output to TV Speaker by going to: Settings > Sound > Sound Output

      3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto

If there is sound but it is not clear, run a diagnostic test. On the remote control, press the Home button. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test.

Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

I hope this helps. Should your issue persist, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

    Samsung Frame Worthiness

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Buy it, hang it, enjoy it. I wasn't sure if the Frame TV was hype or a need. It's such a great TV that is great for large or small spaces and offers something other than a big, black, blank canvas on a wall. It's great to sit down and watch your favorites on a quality screen with quality sound or display your favorite piece of artwork or family photo. Perks include art mode, a solar power remote and the ability to have the tv turn off with motion detection. I feel like it's able to be "on" when you want it and off when you aren't there. The only downside we've seen is the remote seems to be a little glitchy where only the home button will work. Seems to be a common problem, but if that's it we can deal with that.

Thank you for your review of the 2021 Frame TV. It’s great to hear that you have transformed the black rectangle on your wall into a stunning piece of art. The design features from the minimalist bezel to the One Invisible Connect cable is meant to enhance any space. Activate the built-in motion sensor so whenever you walk into the room, your TV displays one of your favorite selections.

If you press any key on the remote, and the LED indicator at the top of your remote stays on for about 3 seconds rather than blinking, please try the following steps to reset your remote:
      1) Long press the RETURN key and ENTER key together for about 10 seconds you’re your remote was once paired already with the TV, you do not need to re-pair it again. However, if it was not paired with the TV, pairing must be done after the reset.
      2) The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backwards pointing arrow.
      3) The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring.

I hope this helps, should you need further assistance, please contact Samsung TV Support. You can reach us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or text HELP to 62913.

I am very sorry you are experiencing trouble connecting The Frame TV to your Sonos Arc soundbar. Frame TV and Mount

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I like the Smart TV since I have it hanging above the fireplace and it has one thin clear wire hanging which is not very visible. The one issue I have is, I was told I had to purchase a TV mount that specifically goes with this Frame TV, even though I already have one on my wall from my previous TV. The Geek Squad was able to use my old one. Unfortunately, I cannot return the one I purchased from Best Buy since it was a "Bundle Package"

      Hi FrameTV,

Thank you for choosing The Frame TV and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the wall mount. If the wall mount you are referring to is the SlimFit Wall Mount (2-piece bracket set with hardware), please know this mount is automatically included in the box with every 2021 Frame TV, and is not considered a package.

    TV failed HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I purchased the 65” frame tv in November 21. Within 6 months my tv had dark lines running through the whole screen, I paid extra for the geek squad 2 year replacement warranty. I called Best Buy to replace my TV under warranty. I was told that on top of the 200$ I paid for the warranty I had to pay an additional 500$ to replace my TV UNDER WARRANTY because they no longer carry the exact same model and the price increased. So now I have to pay 700$ to keep have a TV less than two years after purchase. NO THANKS I CAN BUY 65” TV FOR less the. 500$ on Amazon. TLDR; this is a cool TV but has serious know defects and Best buy does not honor the extended warranty they push on you. In closing I would give 0 stars if I could, between the TV failure and the months of technicians coming to my house and the hours on the phone with customer service this TV was an actual nightmare BEST BUY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A NIGHTMARE. GEEK SQUAD COVERS NOTHING. Save your money shop somewhere else.

    Screen Issues after 3 years

We waited to buy this TV until the new version came out. We purchased it in Apr-21 and 3 years later, the screen is a mess, there is one bright area near the middle, then it progresses to darker areas. We've researched everything and tried everything. We paid a lot for this TV and it's a huge disappointment. We have other Samsung TV's that work great. I am just not sure the Frame has it all figured out.

Extremely disappointed with the Samsung TV. I was very excited about this tv and when looking through the marketing pictures, I didnt see any cords. There was a specific outlet I had at the right level just to plug in my tv (like any other tv) but the Samsung TV comes with a clunky box. I did not want to have a piece of furniture under it so there was so no way to even hide the box. Overall, seems like a great tv but lacking a very basic element.

      Hi Amy1!

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung 2021 Frame TV and for your review. We appreciate your thoughts on the One Connect Box and will share your feedback with our product teams.

With One Invisible Connection cable, the One Connect box allows you to connect your cable or satellite box or video game system to your TV without having all the messy black wires dangling from the TV. This thin and clear cable is connected to the One Connect box, which can be hidden from view, making it feel like there is no cable at all. The One Connect Box also houses the power for your TV allowing you to utilize the included 15ft Invisible Connection to expand the possibilities of placement.

One idea is to have the One Connect box and your connected devices in a separate room, as long as you can run the Invisible Connection cable between your TV and your One Connect box. Just keep in mind that the cable needs to be handled with care – do not bend it at a harsh angle.

Should you ever have questions or need help with TV features, specs, or operation, please contact Samsung Customer Support for help.
