For a space where the tv is the centerpiece you can find better performance. If you’re looking for a tv in a space where the tv is not the ever present black rectangle, it can be best.

The mounting system does hang the TV flat against the wall, but only after you manage to balance it perfectly on a very poorly designed hook mechanism that mounts to the back of the TV. 2. The hardware that they give you to mount the bracket to the wall are cheap nylon anchors. If you trust your investment to 17¢ worth of plastic, good luck. 3. Displaying pictures on this TV doesn’t look like art, and it definitely does not look like you hung a photo on the wall. It just looks like you’re showing a picture in a TV. 4. The images in this listing show a silver bezel making it look like an actual picture frame. No such bezel comes with the TV, which are “conveniently“ sold separately for about $200. 100% gimmick. Don’t waste your money.

We appreciate your thoughts on The Frame TV. I am sorry to hear that you did not understand that the customizable bezel was sold separately. The Frame TV can be displayed as-is with the black bezel. The customizable bezels are available in a range of colors that fit your taste and style.
If you choose to not utilize the 1,400 pieces of artwork found in your TV's Art Store, please know that you can also upload your personal photos from a phone via SmartThings app or via a USB drive.
Here are the steps:
1) Open the SmartThings App
2) Open The Frame TV icon from the SmartThings App, select “ADD YOUR PHOTOS + (r)“.
3) From your mobile device select (s) the pictures you want to add to the frame by checking the small box in the top left corner of the images.
4) Once the upload is done, images will be seen in the Frame TV under “MY PHOTOS.”
Newly redesigned in 2021, The Frame has a super-slim profile of just 1". When mounted with the Slim Fit Wall Mount, it is designed to sit flush against the wall. If you are experiencing issues and a small gap between the TV and your wall is occurring, the wall may not be 100% flat, if it is constructed off-angle to the floor, or is installed incorrectly.
Please understand that not every wall will require the same type of hardware. Each customer’s mounting situation can be very different, requiring specific hardware to ensure the best, most secure fit. A generic hardware type included in the box might be inappropriate for a customer’s wall; the result could be the customer inadvertently mounting their TV insecurely.

Great TV, but the portraits still a bit too bright

Using it with sonos soundbar and are experiencing sound outages. Apparently a known issue and need a firmware update ASAP.

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing trouble connecting your Frame TV to your Sonos Arc soundbar. Please be sure you are using a high-speed HDMI cable with Ethernet Channel sometimes called HDMI HEC cable. Also be sure to enable HDMI-eARC in the Expert Settings menu. Lastly, please also be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1903.0 which includes input device performance updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
