Had high hopes

However, after watching the TV for about an hour, the motion started getting very glitchy. The TV was not hot but was acting like it was over heating. We tried the smart TV as well as personal Roku. Also watched same show on different TV and did not glitch.

Next, to determine whether the issue is related to the TV itself, we recommend running a Picture Test, which displays a high-definition test image for you to examine. Go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test.
If it appears the line has to do with the TV and not any connected devices, we recommend resetting your TV. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Reset Smart Hub.

Terrible base for putting the legs on

Best Buy policies

After plugging the set in the screen was cracked. I immediately returned to Best Buy with the set but they refused to help with a refund or a replacement. I am an 80 year old widow living on Social Security and cannot afford to lose this money. Best Buy couldn't have cared less and told me it was my fault for the cracked screen. I will NEVER shop at Best Buy again and am telling everyone I know and meet to be very wary of what you buy at Best Buy.

We’re sorry to hear that the picture on your Samsung U7900 TV appears too dark. If this isn’t meeting your expectations, there are several settings you can adjust to improve the overall brightness and clarity of your screen.
First, try disabling certain energy-saving features that may be dimming the screen automatically. Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, then turn off Brightness Optimization, Energy Saving Solution, Motion Lighting, and/or Contrast Enhancer.
Next, adjust the Picture Mode to better match your viewing environment: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from the following:
• Dynamic – Brighter and clearer for well-lit rooms
• Standard – Balanced for most environments
• Movie – Ideal for watching in a dark room
• Eco – Designed for energy savings
• Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the creator’s original intent

Not enough hdmi ports

I had to return the TV.

I paid Best Buy to have an installer set it up. The installer did not have one good thing to say about the TV, telling me it didnt have enough connections, the sound board probably wouldnt work etc. Out of frustration I told him to take it back and reinstall my old TV. Later, when talking to my daughter they were exasperated saying that it would have worked out. What am I supposed to think?

Sound is terrible

Dissatisfied

I was promised my delivery of the 65” tv on a tuesday then was told my date was changed to friday. I didn’t agree and could get no one to talk too. I had to go to Bestbuy to get my credit because I could get the same tv somewhere else. No problem getting the credit but when the credit didn’t go thru right away so I could get the other tv I called best buy (and had a lot of problems getting someone to talk to) and was told it would be 10 days before I got the credit. No one at bestbuy seems to know anything.

Tv missing border
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this open box Samsung TV from the Best Buy off of Portsmouth Boulevard and when I got home, I let the TV sit for about a week until I made the arrangements to get the TV mounted on the wall and when I finally unboxed the TV to pull it out of the box it is missing The border that goes around the screen overall, it is a great TV, but as far as the condition as advertise is excellent and I paid the excellent advertised price. It is nowhere near it. I’m very dissatisfied if I didn’t live so far away, I would’ve been brought the TV back to get my money back and took my money elsewhere

Bad experience

The employees were not helpful at all. I had taken the TV myself home only to get home with a broken TV when I tried to return it they said they couldn’t take it back because the TV wasn’t in the right position when I took it. I blamed the employee for not advising me to get it shipped out.

No power after one month.

Called Samsung and they contacted a repair facility. They called and said they ordered parts. We are waiting on parts. Stay tuned as to how long all this takes.

Poor Quality Samsung TV

The back panel peeled off and the TV fell forward onto the floor. TV is damaged and we have no recourse other than complain to Samsung which will do us no good. Do NOT buy this TV period!

Watch out for the credit card scam

Well, this is NOT TRUE! I was told by the card issuer (Citibank) that I will receive a gift certificate for use at Best Buy only and the amount of the gift certificate CANNOT be applied to my statement. I WAS LIED TO. STAY WAY FROM BEST BUY. THERE DISOUNTS ARE A SCAM!!!

I wouldn’t buy another one

Had it delivered because it won’t fit n our vehicle so we can’t take it back and haven’t heard from Best Buy or Samsung. Maybe avoid this one. Maybe we got a lemon and they are amazing.
