Open Box problems.

Was not satisfied with the product but very satisfied with the return process.

Don’t Buy Open Box

Thank you for sharing your experience with your U8000F TV. If you're not hearing sound or if the sound cuts out and you're using only the TV’s built-in speakers (no soundbar or external device), try the following steps:
1. Check volume and mute settings, and make sure the Sound Output is set to TV Speaker: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Output > TV Speaker
2. Run a Sound Test to help diagnose the issue: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test
3. Cold boot your TV by holding the power button on the remote until the TV turns off and back on (Or unplug the TV from power for 30 seconds, then plug it back in)
4. Reset sound settings to default: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Reset Sound
5. Update your TV’s software in case a firmware issue is affecting audio: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
If none of these steps restore your sound, please contact us for further assistance. You can reach Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website.

TV shuts off randomly

Thank you for your feedback regarding your U8000F TV’s response time. To help ensure optimal performance, please try the following steps:
1. Check for firmware updates – An outdated version can affect overall performance: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
2. Run Device Care – This tool clears unused cached memory and closes background apps: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
3. Cold boot your TV – With the TV on, press and hold the Power button on your remote for about 5 seconds until the TV turns off and back on. This refreshes the system.
4. Power cycle the TV and any connected external devices – Unplug them from the power outlet, wait 30 seconds, then plug them back in.

65 inch samsung tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a 35 year old RCA which was in perfect condition but the technology had caught up with it so I finally let it go. Anyway I l upgraded to this 65 inch samsung tv and hope that it eill last at least five to seven years. I've only had it for 2 weels and all is going well. The picture looks pretty good but the sound is weak so I plan to purchase a soundbar in the future. I don't like the remote control which can be a bit challenging to figure out. Otherwise I'm enjoying it. It seems well worth the sale price. I wouldn't pay full price.

I stopped by the local store and was pleased to discover it was still under warranty. A few phonecalls later I had a scheduled visit from a Geek Squad member follwed by a tims adte as to when the tv would be recovered and a replaced by a new one. Everything went swimmingly well and we're all extremely happy with the new tv The picture is amazingly beautiful and the sound is perfect. We couldn't be happier with every aspect of this experience. Thank you Best Buy for your wonderful dedication to serving your customers. It definitely doesn't go unnoticed.

HUGE UPGRADE

We ended up upgrading to the 65 inch Samsung model 8000 and the picture is better and we love it! It also has an additional needed HDMI port.

Samsung tv's also. My service from Best Buy has been outstanding from store to deliveries. Best Buy is the only company I will buy my products for work and home from. If something is not right they go out of the way to make it right.
