We find the edge lighting (vs local dimming) perfectly fine for casual TV viewing. I don't know if this is native 60hz vs motion-enhanced 120 hz (confusing with specs here), but very minor motion blur. Coming from a 1080p TV, you will notice a difference. Don't get too carried away with picky reviews over a TV that will be used daily. A real bargain, I only wish it was a bit thinner.

I got this on sale for a good price and actually bought 2 of them. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the user interface software is laggy when switching between streaming apps or doing anything in the menu while simultaneously watching something in the background. Not a big deal though - just frustrating every once in a while. Software updates have not seemed to improve this either.

Love it, it's huge and beautiful but having to power cycle the internet and the tv with it still not connecting to the internet until you factory reset the tv and reconnect all your apps on a MONTHLY basis is absurd. The online forums are riddled with similar complaints. Why Samsung? If i didnt get the tv for a great price, I'd be furious.

Nice tv, clunky interface

To be honest, the interface/software (I guess it's Tizen) is really clunky and doesn't really work very well. There's a lot of glitching and the system seems to get overloaded easily. We will probably switch to a chromecast or something else at some point. A couple times the tv has just gone black or starts strobing. The fix for this is simple but annoying: just unplug the tv and plug back in.

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
