On sale for a reason

I’m having connection issues with the tv and I’ve always had smart TVs in its same location. It has limit ports and the volume is LACKING. I find myself at 100 for the volume on most things. The only redeeming feature is it’s picture quality So overall I would say no keep looking.

Thank you for purchasing the TU6980 TV and for your review. Your thoughts regarding the number of HDMI ports is important to us and will be shared with our internal teams.
To check your sound, we recommend you try a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test.
You may also select from several Sound Modes and advanced settings to meet your personal preferences. Press the Home button on your remote, and then navigate to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Check the distance between the TV and your modem or access point. The distance should not exceed 50 ft. (15.2 m).
2) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (WiFi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)
3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem.
Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
4) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update which enhances network connectivity. Instructions for how to update firmware are detailed here: samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062224/

This is first purchase of a major TV in over 20years. My son convinced me to go big. 70 inches. Wow !!! I did run into an issue trying to download an app. But o contacted Samsung snd they walked me through the process and we ate All good now. Purchased from BB before Thanksgiving and the TV was on sale. Black Friday price. The store was busy but I waited until I was called and it went smoothly.
