Nice TV … not so nice Remote.

Remote … stinks! Not functionally, but in design. Buttons you need most for streaming applications are near the bottom of the remote, so they are difficult to operate (1 handed) without dropping the remote. I purchased this model b/c I wanted to upgrade my screen size from my old Samsung 55” 8 series. That remote was well designed and easy to operate … didn’t consider (or know) the 7-series TVs had a different type remote.

Almost perfect

Has no problem connecting to my home WiFi. The built in Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video apps work great. The drawbacks: the setup has you download the Smart Remote app on your phone but then the tv doesn’t show up on the app. The Apple TV app on the tv does not appear to be optimized for the tv. Constantly has to buffer and sometimes crashes/fails to play the show or movie selected. The drawbacks are minor in my opinion and overall would definitely recommend this TV to anyone who wants a 4K tv for under $1000
