I bought the Samsung 58" 6 Series last year around the same time at a GREAT price. This year I purchased the 70" Sammy 6 series and have been very pleased. Fairly thin, and decent build quality. No bezel peeling issues like qled's. The only issue I have is that its only equipped with 2 HDMI ports?! And so far with connecting it to my Xbox One X I can't seem to get it recognize the tv as HDR. Have to grab a new tv stand as well. But for the doorbuster deal of $550 plus tax you CANT BEAT IT.
I'm VERY pleased to have a 70" 4k tv!

Overall its a great TV and excellent for the value. I picked this up as a black friday purchase and was actually surprised it was still there in the afternoon. I was looking for an updated TV without compromising quality. The last TV I bought was a simple Samsung in 2013 that was in line with the features at the time (1080p, 55inch, HDMI, composite, some smart stuff, etc). But the TV I am replacing is a 240 motion rate refresh. This TV is a 120 motion rate refresh. For the 1st week, I did notice an occasional black screen for a second every now and then. I asked around and a colleague mentioned the processor is probably adjusting so it's now been 2 weeks and its improved. Plus I've setup a 4k Roku (the ultra and not the stick) paired with a 4k HDMI wire to see if there is a material difference. It seems to be better now. However, I'm still disappointed that its a 120 instead of a 240 refresh, though its not overtly noticeable. It seems that the higher refresh tech is being concentrated in the OLED level of TVs. I am planning on returning this TV even though it's a good value. I just need a slightly smaller screen for the area. Plus I can't understand why the 70" only has a 1 year warranty while the 65" has a 3 year warranty (being sold by another retailer).
Cons:
-Lower refresh or notion rate
-No component inputs
-Smart TV apps are an annoyance and seem to default or automatically show up. The wireless built in is an "N" and not the faster "AC" so Prime and YouTube were constantly glitching or freezing. You need about 25 mbps to seamlessly stream 4K content. Therefore you'll need a strong streaming device to add-on.
-Mounting: This is a huge pain point. My previous Samsung had the screw drill threads close to the surface of the back panel while this TV had them more deeper, which in turn required me to try different screws that would fit. The instructions do not accurately convey the length of the screws and this turned into a trip to home depot. Even if I keep the TV, I'll need some rubber washers to add to the length so that the TV is tight with the mounting bracket. I realize the bracket is probably another upsell but it was a big pain in wondering why the screws wouldn't mount further in!
Pros:
-For $550 you can't beat the price!
-Still a good quality for a Samsung
-Best Buy has a holiday return policy in place :)

I wanted to treat myself to a second 70” in my home, but didn’t want to necessarily shell out another $3000 on a newer QLED model. I currently have a Samsung 70” in my living room which has worked flawlessly for over 3 years and has entertained all of my friends and family on multiple occasions. I use it for VR mirroring and it gives us hours of fun times. This model is much lighter by about 20 lbs and I wall mounted it with molly bolts and a rocketfish wall mount. The setup is rock solide and the TV’s picture quality is very sharp. The colors are vibrant as well! And for $500?! You won’t find a better one out there! Highly recommend!!

I've upgraded my 55 inch 4k sharp tv, and I didn't realize how much bigger it would look in my living room, i watched some 4k movies and the picture is crisp and clean and full of color and dark blacks, works also well with my ps4 pro, the speakers built in the tv really are nice compared to some others, also got my sound bar hook to it thou so it has just some bass, I highly recommend it !

I was worried about this TV since its a Best Buy exclusive TV. But its also Samsung so that made me feel better. So I went from a 55 inch Vizio (which was a good TV) to this 70 inch TV. I cannot be any happier. Great picture. Dont let the people that say its too bright or not bright enough bother you. You can adjust the picture from as bright or as dark as you want. I personally have mine set on the "natural" setting and I love the way it looks. The only down side to this TV, which I think is a very small downside is that it only has 2 HDMI ports. But if you have cable (one HDMI port) and a firestick (other HDMI port), they you should be covered for the most part. Now if you have a game console or something else you need to connect, then you may have to swap out a plug from time to time. Again, this is a small downside in the grand scheme to me. But for a 70 inch TV that I got for $600 on a black friday special.....this is a steal.

Bought this during an early Black Friday sale. I have thoroughly enjoyed the picture quality. For the price and bottom of the barrel TV specs (for a 4K w/HDR) compared to what you spend lots more money for newer and higher specs, I have not been disappointed. I primarily bought it for the size, 4K, and HDR. It met all the criteria I needed and I love it! The only issue I have is that it had limited HDMI inputs (only 2) but find an HDMI switch and you'll be set.

The picture is amazing. Set up was fairly easy and navigating thru the prompts is painless. This is a large display so two people are neccessary locate the television via the wall and or a stand. Plenty of apps come with unit and downloading your favorite apps is quick and easy. We feel this unit serves us well. The remote is laid out in a standard fashion, however, the remote is not a rechargeable bluetooth and will require batteries.

Best Large TV For The Price

If you are looking for a large affordable TV with a great picture this is the one. My only issue/preferred improvement would be that Samsung adds a couple extra HDMI ports.

I picked up this TV last November, and considering the price that I paid, I’m very pleased.
The picture is great for my bright living room, and I’m not concerned that much on if the colors or contrast is calibrated perfectly. I have a nice home theater in another room, so I was more concerned with picture size and brightness. This is more than good enough for me. I’m not suggesting that the picture is poor by any means, but it’s probably got some issues for videophiles.
The speakers are fairly weak, so you might want to pair it with a sound bar. The volume seems to get pretty loud, but I have trouble understanding dialog at the louder volumes. It’s as if the background sounds and music get louder than the dialog does. A separate sound system fixes this.
There are only 2 HDMI inputs, so you might need to get an HDMI switch if you want more inputs.
The WiFi only supports 2.4GHz bands. This seems sufficient to me, but I normally use external sources anyway. You can also use the Ethernet port if you like.
It comes with a lot of built-in apps, but they don’t work as well as a Roku or something like that. Some of them are slow, and I can’t get the built in Hulu app to work at all. It does come with Apple TV support, so you can stream video from your iOS device via Airplay.
Frankly, it’s limitations are made up for in sheer screen size and lower price. I haven’t regretted my purchase in the least.

I have to say I really like my TV. So far, so good. The color and clarity are nice (except on tv+, which comes on it) and I like that it has very little trim around it. This is my first smart TV and I am pleased with the ease of use and picture. I wasn’t sure if I could figure it out, but it was super easy to set up. I paid a really good price for it so I’m extra happy about that. Hopefully, we will get several years use out of it. As of today I give it 5 stars on picture quality, price and ease of using. Hopefully it don’t go out all of a sudden. It does come with some channels and movies of its own, but I never use them, still nice to have. From what I can tell if I use Amazon firestick or blu ray player I can only have one connected at a time. I have only seen one USB port. This is kinda inconvenient. It has other features that I haven’t tried to use, but someone else may. I have 5 apps I use, cable and firestick so I have more than I need. Overall very pleased.

I decided to check out Black Friday deals this year and found this TV on sale for significantly less than retail price! It was worth every penny and some. Absolutely amazing quality and great features. I couldn’t get it to connect with my Samsung sound bar properly, but nothing a Harmony remote couldn’t fix!

So far, so good. Every tv has pros and cons. I like how big it is, the beauty of the picture and ease of use and the slim design. Cons for me are: not enough hdmi plugs (only 2), only 120 motion rate and somewhat of a clunky sized remote. Over all, it was a good buy for the price I paid. It will be used for many football games and movie nights.

My parents were looking for an upgrade to an old Sharp LED TV. They wanted 4K, but they couldn't see themselves paying thousands for one. This one fit the bill. It gives them visually high definition picture and everything looks much better. You can tell the difference between this and the $2K to $5K TVs, but also, the cost doesn't outweigh the visuals, especially based on their need. The TV automatically switches to the active input and it works well. Easy for them as they are getting older.
Calibration was fairly easy. You can go online and check for settings recommended or do them yourself. Everyone is looking for something different visually.
It has 2 HDMI and 1 Optical, so easy to incorporate devices. For the price its fair and I see why it was designed as it was. The next model up has additional HDMI ports. I have that one, but curved. Also, a better TV the next year up.
Bottom line this is a great entry 4K TV that should last you a good amount of time. The unit is also light. I give it 4 starts mainly because of the lack of HDMI, poor TV sound, and the picture is good, but it doesn't wet my pallet for visuals like ti does theirs. Everyone is different.

The user interface is clunky and slow. It only has two HDMI inputs and an optical out for audio (no RCA's if you use older equipment.) Its interface and setup is a little too "smart" for its own good. The positives? None of that can distract from the picture quality and capability at its price- and it's a Samsung, they know how to make a decent TV. TV's are intended to be watched, not have their menus navigated all day. This one is enjoyable no matter what you're watching. I have a home audio system, but the speakers on this TV impressed me- I expected nothing short of tinny, underwhelming nose and was actually met with some rich mid-bass and crisp mid-highs. For two tiny full range speakers they are quite impressive. Picture is fantastic when playing games/movies on my PS4 Pro. Money well spent in my opinion.
