Great TV for the price

Hard for one person to install. Purchased wall mount that swivels and it works great to prevent glare by window.

Get what you pay for.

Which is why when I saw a 70" Samsung for $700 I jumped at it. Well...the brightness really isn't great, most of the time it ok but there are times where it is hard to make out dark scenes. It only has 2 x hdmi ports, Period! No other connections. Also the screen is falling off. The repairs guys seemed surprised so it maybe doesn't happen that often, waiting on the new screen to come in.

I am very sorry that you experienced issues with your TU7000 TV screen and are currently waiting for it to be serviced. I understand your frustration and appreciate your patience.
To adjust the brightness to your liking, you can try Dynamic Picture Mode, or manually adjust the Brightness settings.
Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to: Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic
Or manually adjust the Brightness and other settings to your liking. Go to: Settings> Picture> Expert Settings
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption.
Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.
Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV, according to the ambient light level, to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness.
Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update. (1460.9 released on 12/7/20)
You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

Pretty average, but good for the price

If you're not close to center of the screen, you're going to see a lot of artifacts, and picture quality diminished pretty quickly. That said, it's a good TV for gamers. The built-in game mode seems to improve image quality, especially if you've got your console HDR settings and in-game screen settings set-up right.

Worst TV I have ever owned

Supposed to be Smart TV but is very difficult to operate unless you use one of the built in apps they get paid to put on the unit. When adding an app it will not go to a prominent place but to the end of a long list of advertiser apps and you have to scroll to get to it. I have to push enter 11 time to get to Sling that I added. Manual non existent but you can use on TV help which is crap. Remote buttons are in wrong place for real one handed operation. Again convoluted sequences to get to what you want. Really a poor product to mush like a phone and not a TV. Too many apps installed you can not remove because they are "sponsored" which means they got money for to add to your TV Oh I mean their TV. Don't buy this mess.

Please know that you can customize the Smart Hub by removing apps from or adding apps to the home screen. You can also rearrange apps to your liking. Simply select an app, press, and hold the Enter key. You’ll see a popup menu with options to move or remove it.

Not happy at all.

I have never had any issues before with any TV that I own before including, Visio, sunny, insignia, etc. It’s been issue after issue after issue, particularly with streaming. Also, it can not handle black colors at all. I’m already thinking and ways to sell it and get another one from a different brand.

There was some inventory problems in the store that caused some back and forth, and the delivery kept getting pushed back. That's really been the only issue he's reported. He's older, so sometimes he doesn't understand what all of the pop-ups are, but he manages to clear them with minimal intervention. Good product so far.
