Set up the soundbar to use HDMI connection. Whenever I would turn it off it would revert back to the default setting. Then had to get out the soundbar remote to reset it. Took it back because the sport sound setting volume for the voices was so low you could not hear the announcers.

My unit that is attached to matching tv the sound constantly changes almost cuts out then resumes do they make anything that works proper

Well sense it hasn't worked from the day you installed I would say not a good buy

$4000+ tv failed at 13 months, Samsung replaced internal components, screen then started failing 30 days after reconditioned parts installed. White edges on screen, gray streaks on screen. Samsung basically told me tough luck. I will never buy another Samsung product, nor will I ever recommend any products and will try to convince others to stay clear. Just replaced DON'T BUY A SAMSUNG TV!!!!!!

Paired this with a curved Samsung set, so from the start, visually/aesthetically it feels at home as it slides into place just fine. From a sound standpoint, it's a 3-4 out 5 star device. It most definitely improves on the audio from the tv but it does lack some of the punch you would hope for from something at this price point. It doesn't feel encompassing, you aren't going to get a surround sound experience that you're have with distinct speaker setup. You're not getting 7.1 channels of true sound. What you get is a sound bar with easy enuf physical setup that'll improve the audio of the tv speakers and will give you decent punch with the subwoofer, don't expect IMAX audio. One quirk I have had, even post software update, it doesn't always remember the sound setting I want it to stick to, I.e, movie mode instead of standard. From a setup standpoint, the device was easy enuf to physically install. For me, a single hdmi to the tv, subwoofer was preprogrammed for the sound bar already. Software wise, getting it to wirelessly connect took some trial and error. You have to use an app to do it and I didn't think it was very straight forward. You do want to get it connected, there are some software updates for it. The app has by in large been a hot mess. It tries to integrate music services much like a sonos does but with each app update, some of the services get fixed, others get broken. It's a very poorly rated app if you look it up. A lot of negatives here, I know, but I like to point those out so people can judge. By in large, as a sound bar, I'm glad with the choice I made. It's integration into my Samsung tv was what I wanted as I was leaving a audio receiver setup for the simplicity of this route. The audio is pretty good but it's not that encompassing nature I had hoped for. Sound bars can only sound so good compared to distinct speaker setup with a audio receiver but in that trade off for simplicity, I'm okay sacrificing higher end sound.

It was a piece of junk that they did not take out of demo mode. Return it back to the store only to find out later that they put it back on display to be resold again.

we have the samsung curve tv 78', and wanted the complete audiovisual experience. bought this soundbar to match. pairing was easy (samsung has the smart pairing feature), but gets disconnected once in a while. tried to watch lord of the rings to be able to appreciate the sound better, but there was an annoying swishing sound that persisted (interference?). we tried to connect it via hdmi, and also pair it with other devices just to make sure it was not the wifi (read some forums about samsung soundbar issues, and some say its the wifi) or poor bluetooth connection. i'm no expert, but after troubleshooting with no success, we decided to return it. (defective?) wanted to hold on to it and tried again the next day, still with the same problems. brought it back to best buy, and when they tested, all the problems weren't existent! could it have something to do with our house (wiring, etc?) or is it not compatible with the tv (c'mon samsung!)? i really wanted to love it because of the handsome design and high quality sound (sans the swishing sound!). sadly had to return it. service was great, no fuss return.

Love this soundbar, got an open box and have had no problems first year. Takes time to sync with the new arc hdmi setup, I have a Sony 4K and did have some issues setting up that magically resolved after the first day. Also I have not found this to be a great apartment sound system but only because the subwoofer is ridiculously loud. However with the SW on -6 and bass between -4 and -6 it has a good amount of bass for your average movies. Sounds amazing for music even connected w Bluetooth.

First, I do not own a curved t.v. I put this in space below t.v. in entertainment center. It looks nice there as well. It was time to upgrade old "cheap" sound bar. I did a ton of research and this is what I finally chose. Sounds great, looks great, and has all the nice touches. I love the Bluetooth. I love that b.b. will price match. This is currently listed on Costco for $350 and bb matched. Wow. $200 less and what I wanted. This sound bar is awesome in and of itself, but that price is unbelievable. Get it,but make sure you pricematch them!

i love the clear sound, easy to setup and confuger

finally I got rid of my receiver that had wired speakers since I purchased this soundbar. The sound is great with the wireless sub woofer. It's pretty loud enough to watch movies and play games.
