Do yourself a favor and get the newer TCL with local dimming, not this archaic edge-lit garbage. There was a bit of backlight bleeding in the upper right corner when I first got it. The TV is for casual watching during the day, so I didn't think anything of it. The return period ends in 2 weeks, and I didn't notice the backlight bleeding get any worse so I decided to keep it. After 5 weeks, it has just got plain bad. Backlight bleeding has spread to the other corners of the screen, and to the top and bottom edges as well. Watching a movie at night is absolutely terrible. This thing is legitimately a $1300 lemon to me. I've sat through 40 minutes of customer support, and now have to wait a week for someone to perform a "warranty repair." On to the actual review: The picture is great if you only watch bright shows during the day. At night, the image just falls apart due to the older style edge lighting. There's a slight inconsistency in the brightness across the screen. The edge lighting becomes exceptionally apparent when you watch a movie due to the black bars at the top and bottom being very washed out if you have a consistent backlight setting, or it very obviously varies in washed-outedness with a dynamic setting.

Great tv, can’t curse but its awesome. Would recommend unless you’re blind, then it’d be a waste.

Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because when programming my cable remote to it, the volume indicator keep blinking on and off after programming. Have to keep re-programming it to stop. Haven’t figured out how to resolve that issue yet. Also the tv kept turning off by itself when the Anynet was enabled. Had to disable that feature for the tv to work properly. Took me a while to figure that out.

The best thing is the size it has very good quality picture and it has good sound I definitely like watching movies on it and playing my game

All you read about this is true especially for the price,it’s a cant beat. I got on Black Friday which helped in making the decision. Pull the trigger and get it.
