the screen is splotchy

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked everything about the TV until i turned it on. the picture is not terrible but not as good as I expected. the dark scenes and black screen is very splotchy. corners as lighter than the center. i have checked a few websites regarding this and how to correct it. I have tried a few of those tips but it's still not great. i have the extended warranty so I'm tempted to use that but I would be willing to work with someone from Best Buy to see if there is something we can do with this TV. On the down side, the speakers are not very loud and the legs are too high (4") making it not fit in my entertainment center.

Huge TV
