Spend the extra $$ to get the next model up

Spend the extra $$ and get the better model.

Worst experience

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the 75 inch open box so the TV was still in store mode (display setting) first store gave me the wrong remote so wasn’t able to set up the tv. Drove to my local Best Buy To exchange and they too gave me the wrong remote as well. At this point I paid additional online for the right remote. And still tv won’t work. Luckily the tv is still under Samsung warranty and they’re sending out a technician next week cause they’re so backed up. Long story short 1 month later I’m still sitting with a 75” TV that doesn’t function. Thanks Best Buy!

Very Poor Build Quality

The LCD panel does not meet the bezel at the top of the TV. When you look up and see where the LCD panel meets the bezel and there is a huge gap where they should be flush. This makes the light guides in the edge lit TV shine light directly along the top of the LCD panel since the light guides are visible in the gap. I have had this model replaced and the replacement TV was worse than the original. Talking to the installer made me realize that I would have to go "up" a bit for a quality manufactured television in the Samsung line. Having gone through two of these I agreed. So the Q70 series 75 inch QLED Samsung is being delivered the day after Christmas and they are taking the 7 series (75 inch) away. Hopefully Samsung is more stringent with their manufacturing tolerances in their QLED line. Best Buy support has been great - stellar - during this whole process. I am very glad I bought the 2 year Geek Squad plan as it came into play right away and they were very responsive - during Christmas rush. Excellent service.

Good quality picture

Every time I turn on the tv I have to wait about 2 or 3 minutes for the tv to automatically connect to the WiFi at home

Not as good as I thought it would be

However, I am using factory settings. They should make sure it is set appropriately then me having to figure it out.

Don't settle

Unit was damaged upon arrival and was told this TV was similar to the Sony. However, after installing and using it only a couple times I am disappointed to not have the Sony I originally preferred. The TV is blurry with sudden picture changes and makes me dizzy. I wish I had been told I only had 2 weeks for return of product. I had to leave town before I could install and by time I came back the 2 weeks had past. Now, I have to settle for a TV I did not originally buy.

Not happy

The TV did not have the quality that I thought it would nor did it meet my expectations as far as having a standard of quality higher than that of what it appeared. The TV blurs when you look at it off center, the light and dark areas are not regulated very well, and bright colors... well forget about it.

Wrong description false advertisement

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV says it has Bixby under the specifications I contacted Samsung after realizing our TV doesn’t have Mic and they assured me it doesn’t we were originally going to purchase the 6 series and decided on the 7 only because it had bixby only because my GF has an eye condition and it would make things easier for her Samsung told me to contact Bixby because they have no control on what third parties have on their websites we were very excited and now we feel like we are just stuck with a 75” TV that we don’t truly want
