I really wanted to like this tv, and did a LOT of research before buying it. It's got great reviews, and was listed as one of the best "entry level" tvs. (Almost a THOUSAND DOLLARS, for "entry level." #FirstWorldProblems....) The tv is ridiculously large. But that's one of the only positives about it. It started with the remote; you push a button, and it takes like 5 seconds for something to happen. I couldn't understand why the remote was so laggy, and thought it was just mine, but you see many reviews mention it. Still, not a big deal to me. Then the sound....the bass on this thing is PITIFUL. I'm talking NO low end. And, on MY tv, the EQ settings aren't available. STILL, not a big deal. I have a surround sound system. The deal breaker is the picture. I'm not video snob. 1080p vs 4k isn't a huge deal to me. Most places aren't pushing out 4k content anyway. The picture calirty is fine for my purposes, BUT OH MY GOD THE BLUR! One of the main reasons I wanted this tv was to watch football. Watching sports on this tv is physically sickening. If you want to just watch 22 blurs zipping around the screen, then this tv is for you. Even the words scrolling at the bottom just become a single smear of letters. Unwatchable. I was actually getting a headache. I'm very upset at this purchase. This is the problem with shopping online. I should have gone into the store and looked at each tv to see what was better for my needs. Because this tv ain't it. Lesson learned.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV and for your review. You can try the following steps to improve your image.
Navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings.
Navigate to and Select Picture Clarity Settings
The default setting is Auto. This means the feature automatically turns on and off based on the type of program being watched. Change the setting to either Off or Custom.
If you select Custom, three additional options are available for further customization to your viewing preference.
-Blur Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Blur setting.
-Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting.
-LED Clear Motion: This option allows you to configure the LED backlight to sharpen fast-moving images. Select to turn On or Off.
To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care

Lacks bass but is serviceable. Picture quality is decent but I wouldn’t make this your first choice for your main space if you’re into 4K movies. It’s a decent tv especially for the price
