    The quality is good, integration is not so good. I have the RU8000 in one of my rooms and its amazing. This 8 series TV however is not that great. The menu takes way to long to load and it lags a ton. When you want to look at the other apps you cant continue to watch what you were watching like on the RU 8 series. Not sure why Samsung changed the menu setup but it really brings my rating way down on this TV

      I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing with a slow user interface. To ensure performance is fully optimized, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware. To do so, go to Settings> Support> Software Update. You can easily update from there if necessary.

    Great TV till it stopped working 2.5 years lalter. Everything worked great but about yei years into it a black dark streak showed on display and then two months later a PC error showed and then i couldn’t turn on.

    Everytime I use a samsung product its great. For like a week. Its like samsung tested their devices to work great when viewing at a store but fail after purchase. The tv was never bumped dented hurt etc. there are now lines through the entire tv for no reason that samsung wont do anything about. On top if that the tv came with no advertisements and the. They updated it so there are no advertisements on my 1000$ tv thanks again samsung. Seriously just stay away from this company they dont know what they are doing in any area.

      Hi there,

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung AU8000 TV and for sharing your experience with your TV not displaying properly. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

      1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections

      2. If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, and fixed horizontal or vertical lines.

      3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?

      4. Press the Home button (which looks like a house), select Source, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?

      5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)

      6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. The signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

    Barely lasted a year!

    The tv was fantastic at first. Great video quality, easy navigation, and video games looked great. 14 months later and half the screen went black. I called Samsung for assistance and they only warranty 12 months. Samsung’s service team told me it would cost more to fix the tv than it was to purchase it new. Shortly after the whole screen went black. Now I have a 75” pile of junk. IF you decide to buy this tv, do yourself a favor and pay for an extended warranty!

    Slow, laggy, crap

    The picture is good but the TV is so slow and laggy. It’s almost unusable. I’ve contacted support, gone through all the trouble shooting but there’s no solution. My last Samsung was the same way. I was able to get Samsung to replace the motherboard of the TV with a brand new one and it’s actually worse than before. All my other TVs work just fine. This Samsung model is just poorly made, and functions at a snails pace. I should have learned but now I’m stuck with a $1,000 TV that barely works. Total garbage.
