    Best Buy support won't help if/when this tv breaks

    Purchased this TV, loved it, until 1 month in and it just shows a black line down the center and across the bottom. Best Buy won't work with me at all for it cause I apparently didn't buy the protection plan. I thought I did. I spent $1399 now this tv is listed at $999. 1 MONTH later. They won't help at all. Best Buy's customer service and desire to keep customer's happy is a 0.

    The tv stopped working within 3 weeks of purchase. It was brand new not open box. Contacted Samsung warranty, took them a week and a half to come and inspect it and now waiting another week for the replacement part.

    DO NOT BUY! Purchased Nov.20. Tv went through the power cycle and when I finally got it to stop I was greeted with a thin black horizontal line across the tv. Contacted Samsung and they stated no service centers were in my area. Said I was eligible for store credit. Great except I purchased the tv on sale and it is now $300 more and sold out. So if I want the exact same tv which was less than 6 months old, I have to fork over more money. Guess it doesn’t pay to be smart and purchase things on sale. Turns out even at that price it isn’t worth the money.

    Had this 75 inch Samsung TV for almost 4 years and had only one manufacturer defect and it was covered under warranty & repaired without any hassles. But for four years, this has been an amazing TV! Very happy with its quality and durability so far. Long time history of Samsung HDTVs owner here.

    I've had the tv for three months and it won't turn on now. Still waiting to hear from Samsung on this issue.

    Do not buy this, tv has issues with sound and interface. Advertising built in to the interface lags the TV. Sound out on digital or hdmi is braking up on scene change so you always lose 5-6 words if there is no background sound, Contacting Samsung and they will just give you the runaround until your 2 weeks is out so you cant replace it any more at Best Buy. Samsung always says we will get back to you in up to 3 days but they never do. Buy stuff on Amazon so you can at least return it if it's defective Best Buy refuses to accept returns. (there is always some reason they cant take it back) and now I have expensive TV that lags and brakes sound, good for trash.

      If the audio drops out issue happens when connected via HDMI, the HDMI cable is most likely the cause.
      We recommend you replace the HDMI cable with a High-Speed cable with Ethernet Channel, labeled as HEC or HEAC on the cable.
