Very disappointed and lengthy process

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because I fell in love with the tv as soon as I first opened it. Amazing picture and fast response time and a simple and stylish remote. However I got a defective one or something. Just 1 day shy of 4 months and the tv stopped working in the middle of a tv show and would continuously cycle on and off the screen, with nothing else loading/working. It took ONE WHOLE MONTH to get my money back after contacting Samsung. They said they would repair it, and I should get a call from the technician. A few days later and I get a message saying that there’s no repair facility available for them in my area so I had to send of receipts and serial numbers and so forth. Another week goes by and they said they would offer me a store credit from the place I got it and to respond saying if I wanted to do it or not. I said yes, twice. Never heard anything back and then I call them the next week to tell them for a 3rd time. They said their gonna out the ticket through and I should hear from Best Buy in about 3-5 business days. Well 5 business days later, and I get an email from Samsung saying they just submitted the ticket. Finally after another week I got an email from Best Buy’s RA department for my credit, so I contacted the store, and we went over the process. Finally on Super Bowl Sunday, I finally brought bag my huge 75” tv and they no longer sold these or had any in stock. So I had to go with a different brand and it would take, another 5 days before that one was shipped in. It’s been frustrating because I haven’t been able to watch tv until this got replaced except for on my laptop. And that’s not that fun to watch stuff on. Saw good reviews for the LG Nanocell 85 75” so that’s what I’m replacing it with. Hopefully the new one won’t let me down.

Have to turn the volume up pretty high, number-wise, to get much volume. TV quit after 2 months and 11 days (purchased online on sept 13, delivered on sept 18, hung on the wall Oct 6). Samsung has NISI do their repairs. Samsung notified on Dec 17. NISI came out on Dec 29. Said entire display was going to have to be replaced (the TV was working fine. Turned it off, and upon turning it back on later in the day, got 2 red flashes from the indicator light, a click, and the backlight tries to turn on.... repeats cycle). NISI told me the parts should be in on January 6. Tentative appointment on the 8th. I called Samsung and asked if they would swap it out since with two service calls and replacing the largest part of the TV it would be more economical.... they said to let them try to fix it. So now I’m missing the new year football games, and will have a “new” TV that will have been taken apart in my daughters bedroom with the entire display replaced plus other parts. I’ve got a great feeling about how this is going to turn out!
