Samsung-75” Class DU6950 Series Crystal 4K Review
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great deal and I jumped right on it. 2 TV's for such a good price. the 75" Samsung - 75” Class DU6950 Series Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV (2024) was very easy to handle for one person. was able to mouny it to the wall with out any help. picture quality is amazing and it fills the room with vibrant quality. connected it to my Samsung soundbar and the depth of sound with the picture quality: OUTSTANDING! The only thing is that it only has 2 HDMI ports. a 3rd would have been great since it did not have the Optical port. so I has to use he HDMI(ARC) to connect the Soundbar which left me on other options to connect my 2nd video device. Other than that. So far so good.

Huge TV on a Budget!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start of by saying, you will not be disappointed by this purchase! Originally, I wanted the DU6900 because it was the same TV with about $20-$50 less on the price tag at the time; they did not have it at my local Best Buy so I went the the DU6950 (The re-released holiday version of the DU6900). With it's bright picture, large display and vast array of features, this TV is made to please on a budget! No complaints, installation was easy, requires two people. Lightweight for the size, easy to setup. Very good 70" for the price, well worth it! Easily integrates with Samsung phones/DEX! The Samsung remote 'seamlessly' started working with my Roku, no setup required, not sure how that worked. Sometimes on the Roku, it's a little weird with the Home/Back button but still functional. For some reason I'm stuck on using the Roku, I have several, and am so used to them and don't use actual smart TV features, maybe just for a few things like screen mirroring and Samsung DEX. We've been using the TV for 3-4 months, TV is almost never off; kids! The speakers are nothing to brag about, it's like a better quality loud phone, no depth and lacks low frequencies. Volume/Channel on the remote are not pressable "buttons" they are "toggle switches" more-or-less. I finally had to bring out my old audio receiver and bookshelf speakers. I went from a 50 inch Samsung to this. With mainstream brand TVs coming down this low in price it's worth grabbing! Certainly not the best and certainly not the worst but good enough for me!

Worth The Buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this TV for a little over a year now, and I’m very satisfied with the purchase. It’s the biggest TV I’ve ever owned, and the picture quality is excellent. It performs well for gaming, Madden and other games look great with no issues. My only minor complaint is that the remote is easy to misplace haha. Other than that, I definitely recommend this TV. you won’t be disappointed.

Great for the price. Weird clicking from behind.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv is great for the price. If you’re not looking to spend too much on something this should be good. Picture quality is great. The speaker quality could be better. I ended up buy a JBL 2.0 sound bar to go alone with it. Also I’m not sure if I’m the only one that has encountered this but the back of the tv makes a clicking noise from time to time. Does this both when off and on.

Don’t listen to negative reviews
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very concerned when I purchased this TV because of all the bad reviews. Don’t be scared to buy this tv like I was. I felt the need to make my own contribution and tell you the truth. Spoiler alert… This may be a “budget” TV, but it is a very good TV. If you want to spend 3k on a tv because it has the best picture and sound, go right ahead. But if you want the best picture at a great price, this tv is for you. Keep in mind, I have several Samsung tvs and they are all 6+ years old and still working great. I have a lot of faith and good experiences with Samsung. I had a 55 inch Samsung budget tv I bought in 2018 and wanted to get something bigger. I paid $600 for it back then (more than I paid for this 75 inch and is far superior). Everyone is right… there are only two HDMI plugs and that annoys me. But you can just buy an HDMI splitter on Amazon for 8 dollars! The sound may not be the best but to be honest my old 55 inch didn’t sound that good either. It doesn’t really matter to me because I have a Samsung soundbar with surround speakers. The sound is far superior and sounds better than even the most expensive tv. If you are looking for a big tv, don’t spend thousands of dollars on a TV you can buy next year for $600 on Black Friday. Save your money and buy this TV now. And use that savings to invest in a Samsung soundbar with rear speakers. You will never have to go to the theater again.

Spectacular picture and home cinema experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm truly impressed with this Samsung Crystal UHD TV. The picture quality is incredible: the colors are vibrant, the contrast is sharp, and the details are perfect even in dark scenes. The design is sleek and modern, and it looks great in the living room. Plus, the system is fast and easy to use; apps like Netflix and YouTube open instantly. The sound also surprised me; I didn't immediately need a soundbar. Definitely an excellent buy for the price. Ideal for watching movies, sports, or playing video games. Highly recommended!

||Posted . The 4K resolution is crisp, colors are vibrant, and the size makes movie nights feel like a theater experience. Setup was easy, and the smart features work seamlessly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for top-notch quality at a great price.

I love my Samsung TV fro Best Buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using this Samsung TV for a week now, and I’m very happy with it overall. The picture quality is outstanding. The TV features are intuitive and responsive, with all the major streaming apps built in and easy to access. Setup was simple, and the remote is well-designed. I mostly use the TV for streaming movies and shows, and the experience has been smooth and enjoyable. The only downside I’ve noticed is the built-in speakers—they’re okay, but not amazing. I ended up connecting a soundbar, which made a big difference. Overall, it’s a great TV for the price, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality smart TV.

Samsung 75” DU6950 Series Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tiz
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture Quality The Crystal UHD 4K display delivers stunning visuals with vibrant colors, crisp details, and excellent clarity. Samsung's PurColor technology enhances the range of shades and hues, making scenes feel more lifelike. The 75-inch screen size provides an immersive viewing experience, particularly for large living rooms or home theaters. However, while the color and clarity are excellent for its price range, it lacks the advanced brightness and deep black levels of higher-tier QLED or OLED models. Performance Equipped with Samsung’s Crystal Processor 4K, the DU6950 ensures smooth upscaling of non-4K content, so even HD shows and movies look sharp and refined. The TV handles motion decently well, making it suitable for sports and fast-paced action scenes. However, gamers might notice the absence of advanced gaming features like VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) or a high refresh rate, which are common in more premium models. Smart Features Powered by Tizen OS, this TV provides a seamless and user-friendly interface for accessing all your favorite streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and YouTube. The Smart Hub makes it easy to navigate content and customize your home screen. Voice control is available through Bixby, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant, adding convenience for hands-free navigation. Audio Quality The audio quality is decent with built-in speakers that use Samsung’s Adaptive Sound technology to optimize sound based on the content you're watching. While the sound is clear, it may lack the depth and richness that some viewers prefer, especially in large spaces. Pairing it with a Samsung soundbar can significantly enhance the overall audio experience. Design The DU6950 has a sleek and minimalist design, with thin bezels that make the large screen look even more striking. Its build quality feels durable, and the stand is sturdy, though wall-mounting is an excellent option to save space and enhance aesthetics. Value for Money Priced competitively for a 75-inch 4K smart TV, the DU6950 offers excellent value for those seeking a large screen with reliable performance. While it may not have the advanced features of premium Samsung models, it delivers solid performance for everyday viewing and streaming. Pros Vibrant 4K picture quality with Crystal Processor Tizen OS with a wide range of apps and voice control options Sleek, modern design with thin bezels Competitive pricing for its size and features Cons Limited brightness and contrast compared to QLED or OLED models Basic gaming features (no VRR or high refresh rate) Average audio quality that benefits from external sound systems Conclusion The Samsung 75” DU6950 Series Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV is an excellent choice for those who prioritize screen size, picture clarity, and smart features without breaking the bank. It’s perfect for general viewing and streaming, though enthusiasts seeking premium features like advanced gaming performance or cutting-edge display technology might prefer a higher-end Samsung model. Overall, it’s a fantastic option for families, casual viewers, or anyone looking for a large, reliable TV with impressive 4K quality.

75" of basic
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.75" at $530 is exactly what you can expect. The TV has good picture quality out of the box. No issues playing my ps5 all is well there. The smart tizen is a bit glitchy. Sometimes its smooth sometimes there is a delay. It also lacks an optical port, got lucky that my sound bar has BT and so does the tv. If you require great picture quality and a smooth smart system look elsewhere. If you just need it to work then this tv will do fine. Id buy again at this price point or cheaper.

Good TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: • Picture Quality: The screen is standard but provides a pleasant viewing experience. Great for watching movies and shows. • Price: For $600 with tax, it’s a decent deal. Cons: • Sound: The audio quality is very poor. Watching without a soundbar is almost impossible, but with one, it’s much better. • Features: The operating system is weak and lacks functionality. • Ports: Only 2 HDMI inputs, which is insufficient for modern needs. Conclusion: For $600, this TV is a good option. However, if I had paid $900, I would have been very disappointed.

I love this TV
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Excellent 4K Picture Quality: Customers consistently highlight the stunning, vivid colors and clear resolution for general viewing. User-Friendly Smart Platform: The Tizen OS is easy to navigate, providing quick access to streaming apps. Good Value for the Price: Many reviewers find it to be a great deal for its size and features. Sleek Design: The thin bezel and large screen offer a modern, immersive experience. Cons: Limited Connectivity: The TV has a limited number of ports, including only two HDMI ports. Mediocre Sound: The built-in speakers are generally considered weak, with a soundbar being a recommended upgrade. Ineffective HDR: The TV lacks the necessary brightness to reproduce High Dynamic Range (HDR) content effectively, according to Consumer Reports. 60Hz Refresh Rate: All ports are limited to a 60Hz refresh rate, which may be a drawback for some gamers and content. Poor Viewing Angle: Image quality, especially color and black levels, degrades when viewed from the sides.

Big Screen, Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a big-screen 4K TV without spending premium prices, the Samsung 75” DU6950 delivers a surprisingly strong performance for everyday viewing, streaming, and casual gaming. Picture & Performance The DU6950 features a 75-inch 4K UHD LED panel with Samsung’s Crystal Processor 4K, which upscales content well and produces crisp visuals with good detail for the price. PurColor technology helps render vibrant colors, and Motion Xcelerator works to reduce blur in fast scenes, making sports and action movies look smoother. Overall, picture quality earns praise from many owners for its brightness and clarity at this size. However, keep in mind it’s a basic LED panel without local dimming or advanced contrast tech, so you won’t get the deep blacks or HDR impact found in higher-end TVs. It’s a great step up from smaller or older sets, but not a top-tier display. Smart Features & UI This model runs Samsung’s Tizen smart TV platform, giving you smooth access to popular streaming apps (Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, etc.). Most owners find the interface intuitive, though a few people online mention the UI can occasionally feel slow or clunky compared with external streamers. Audio The built-in speakers do a decent job for everyday watching, but they’re fairly standard for a budget TV. Pairing it with a soundbar — especially one that supports Samsung Q-Symphony — will make a noticeable improvement. Gaming & Input With a 60Hz refresh rate and Auto Game Mode (ALLM), the DU6950 handles consoles and casual gaming fine, though competitive players may notice the lack of higher refresh rates or VRR compared to gaming-focused models. Pros & Cons Pros • Large 75” 4K screen with vivid colors and good clarity for movies, shows, and sports. • Excellent value — solid performance at a budget-friendly price. • Easy setup and broad smart app support. Cons • Standard LED panel with limited contrast and HDR punch. • Only a couple of HDMI ports — some users find this limiting. • Remote and UI aren’t as slick as some competitors.

Excellent quality picture, but software reboots
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy the quality of the picture. The sound is acceptable, but won’t knock your socks off. The software does freeze and resets sometimes if you are too aggressive with changing between programs. For instance clicking on Prime and then immediately changing to Netflix a few milliseconds later just because you selected the wrong program. Other times if works flawlessly without a single problem. Also, it does freeze because we are using Cox and it will reset like you just turned the tv on after the internet freezes. It basically gives a black screen and then reloads backs to the main screen after rebooting. I suspect this may be intentional so it can reconnect to the internet. I am extremely unclear whether Cox is causing most of the problems I experience or if it is the tv software itself. I do see there is an option for product support directly on the tv to allow someone to connect to your tv to troubleshoot and provide support. I will likely attempt to do this as it does become frustrating after just a few weeks owning the tv. I did already perform an update and regularly check for updates to see if a solution comes on its own. While there is this annoyance which may or may not be related to the tv itself I like the picture quality, as well as, the online streaming services available for download so I will continue to try to work on the connectivity issues that are causing a reoccurring problem. The primary reason I believe it is Cox is because it does seem to also impact other items on my home network at the same time and it regularly occurs around the same time each evening. However, we love BestBuy and the Geek Squad service and warranty products as I have always had a positive experience with both. For this reason alone I purchased the tv with confidence!

Amazing TV with Outstanding Picture and Sound Qual
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Samsung 75-inch TV, and I have to say, it has completely transformed my viewing experience. From the moment I turned it on, I was blown away by the incredible picture quality. The 4K resolution is simply stunning—everything looks incredibly sharp, vibrant, and lifelike. Whether I’m watching movies, sports, or streaming my favorite shows, the clarity and color accuracy are top-notch. The HDR capabilities really bring out the details in both bright and dark scenes, making every frame look more dynamic and realistic. The size of the screen is perfect for creating that true home theater feel, especially in larger rooms. Despite its massive size, the TV has a sleek, modern design that blends beautifully into any living space. It’s surprisingly thin and looks great mounted on the wall or on a stand. The sound quality is also impressive. The built-in speakers deliver clear, powerful audio with rich bass and crisp dialogue, even without a soundbar. It fills the room nicely and enhances the overall immersion of whatever you're watching. Of course, if you pair it with a good sound system or a Samsung soundbar, it takes things to another level. The smart features are intuitive and easy to use. Navigating through apps like Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and more is smooth and fast. The remote is simple and user-friendly, and voice control through Bixby or Alexa is a nice touch. Plus, the TV connects seamlessly with other Samsung devices, which is super convenient. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this TV. It’s a premium product that delivers on all fronts—picture, sound, design, and smart features. If you're looking for a high-quality, large-screen television that offers an immersive and cinematic experience at home, this Samsung 75-inch model is absolutely worth it.
