    Scathing Review: Samsung 85” Class DU6950 Series Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV (2024) I purchased two Samsung TVs, including the 85” Class DU6950 Series Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV (2024) from Best Buy, and both have been a complete disaster. Within the first month, both TVs developed significant issues, proving Samsung’s quality control is utterly deplorable. This particular model suffers from a infuriating defect that causes it to reset every single night, disrupting my viewing experience and rendering the TV borderline unusable. It’s a clear manufacturing flaw, yet Samsung’s customer service has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. They dodge their warranty obligations with every excuse in the book, leaving me stuck with a defective product. My previous Samsung TV was so problematic I had to throw it out, and now I’m forced to endure this one’s daily resets because Samsung refuses to honor their warranty or take responsibility for their shoddy craftsmanship. Save your money and avoid Samsung TVs at all costs. Their products are unreliable, and their warranty is nothing but empty promises. I deeply regret my purchase and will never trust Samsung again.

    The picture on this tv is excellent only downfall wish the tv had an optical cable slot tonget the full experience when using a sound bar

      You can also customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings.

      For optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed on your TV. You can check this by going to Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

    This is a great buy.easy to install the apps and set up .the delivery service was amazing and this is the second tv I brought from Best Buy and had a great experience both time.

    I received a tv with poor volume, when I first starting listening to the volume it sounded extremely awful, I plugged in a sound bar to make sure I wasn't tripping, and the volume from the sound bar sounded amazing, this was a red flag for the volume, and confirmed my issue. The next issue was the remote, my coworkers, and I all buy the same products, so i purchased my tv and the remote didn't match. Bixby is built into my tv, so why would I receive a tv without a voice (remote) option to control it. (My personal opinion)- I can't wrap my brain around that. I've called Samsung directly and was informed I indeed have the wrong remote, and this was again verified by a sale rep again. I'm not happy, and I'm not settling for this. I would not recommend this tv, I've should have stuck to what i know best, FIRE TVS. They are amazing! To the sales rep Jorge- YOUR AMAZING, AND THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING ALL OF MY QUESTION CORRECTLY I WAS GIVING WRONG INFORMATION SEVERAL TIMES.

While Bixby is built into the DU6950 TV and the TV is compatible with external systems like Alexa, the included remote does not feature a microphone. Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in remote voice assistants.

    I picked up the first TV and it was cracked. Return to Gessner location and the store manager Jim (I think) was great. He returned the product and gave me a new one with no issues. I a greatful for the awesome customer service!

    Screen does not look as good as it displayed in the store. Does not display well in a well lit room. Does not look good at night either. Volume lacks any type of richness or fullness. Definitely a Black Friday bust. I should have known by the price that it would not be worth it. Also having gone from Roku to Samsung, the Roku is easier to navigate.

      1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.

      You can also go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.
