It constantly crashes out of apps whether it’s Netflix, peacock, paramount plus, etc. could be in seconds, or minutes. Don’t play a drinking game for each time it crashes, you’ll be hammered! Speakers are terrible as well, but I did hook up a soundbar which fixed that issue. Picture is good for the price range so no complaints there but the crashing is super annoying.

If apps are not working correctly, we recommend first checking for firmware updates on your TV. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Software Update. If you do have the latest firmware, then you can next try a cold boot. There are two ways to cold boot your TV:
1) Using the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.
2) Using the Plug: If you do not have the remote, unplug your TV from the wall outlet or surge protector, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.

New TV purchase

To assist in learning the various functions, please know you can download the DU6950 TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under Support > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. You can search for and select the DU6950 TV to download the guides you would like.
The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into your TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

Don't buy it—don't waste your money.

I have always bought Samsung products for their quality, but I have been very disappointed. The warranty only lasts one year, so I cannot file a claim.
