SOUND IS HORRIBLE!! DO NOT BUY!

That being said, the sound quality is junk, even after trying to adjust. Once we hooked up the sound bar it was fine, but this TV is going back. I cant believe Samsung would put out a TV with such bad sound.

Turned on the tv and it was damaged

If your DU6950 TV appears to turn off by itself, try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions.
See if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Settings > All Settings> General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer
If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer has been enabled and disable it.
- Settings > All Settings> General > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off
- Settings > All Settings> General > System Manager > Time > Off Timer

Need TV antenna options in set up

The struggle is with finding the icons for setting up an antenna. The software is looking for a TV provider. Antenna TV is not an option.

The DU6900 does have a built-in tuner. To set up your local channels, please follow these steps:
1) Make sure your Antenna or Cable box is set up, and then connect it to the TV via the ANT IN.
2) Go to Source> TV
3) Press Setting> All Settings> Broadcasting> Auto Program
4) Start to begin Auto-Programming, and then select either Air, Cable, or Both
5) Your TV will begin to scan for channels. After it's done, select Close to finish

"Third Set I'm Hopeful"

The first one went bad and I was directed by Best Buy to have it looked over by Samsung technicians. They brought another with them on the truck in case they couldn't fix the first set. As it turned out either one worked. Went back to Best Buy for the third set and right now it's working, CROSS MY FINGERS. Had it a few days and so far, so good. Overall experience not good. Seems to a problem warranty repair responsibilities among Best Buy and Samsung that ties to the 15 day purchase agreement.
