    Sound kept going in & out - mostly out - & hadn't had the TV 3 days. Best Buy in my home town in CA was not helpful even when going into the store in person way before the return by date. Bought this tv for my parents who are in their 80's & live 3000 miles away. We contacted Best Buy in their hometown & they took care of my parents with no problem. Will never by a tv online from Best Buy again.

    If you purchase this tv buy a fire stick Roku or Apple TV with it because the fit to screen setting is stuck at 16:9 and all tv apps have a giant black border when trying to watch Samsung customer service assured me they are aware and that it won’t be fixed. I have had Samsung TVs in the past picture is decent but cannot get over the border that takes up 1/4 of the screen. Buy a different brand

      Thank you for purchasing the DU6900 TV. Please know that HD channels will have black bars on either side of the screen when displaying upscaled SD (4:3) content. Black bars will appear at the top and bottom of the screen when watching movies with aspect ratios different from your TV. Adjust the picture size options on your external device or set the TV to full screen.
      Go to: Home > Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Size Settings > Picture Size

    Cheap and it shows. It isn't too bad, but you should spend the extra for the 7000 series.

    Not a month old and this tv goes off into a loading screen at random times while watching something and also when its just on the home screen.

      First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. I recommend enabling auto-updates to ensure you do not miss any Firmware Updates. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update> then select Auto Update.

      Next, let's try running a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.
