    My tv came broken, since I got this during the holidays, My husband was finally to get someone to help put the tv up. Once they did all the work hung up the tv husband turned it on , only to fine out it was damaged. I missed the returned policy by 2 days and no one would help me. So stuck with broken tv and still have to pay for it.

    Sound fluctuations & picture is not that clarity sometime it will show images

      Thank you for contacting us regarding the image and sound issues you are experiencing. Please try the below troubleshooting steps.

      For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings.

      - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
      - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
      - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

      If you are experiencing inconsistent sound volume, please try adjusting the following Settings to improve your experience.

      The Auto Volume function automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On.

      You may also want to perform a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test.

    Very disappointed that the tv dies not have an optical output. I bought the tv because it had three hdmi imputs. Now i have to waste one on the sound bar. The sales person should have asked if i was gonna hook a sound bar to it. And told me that there is not optical connection

      Thank you for your feedback on the DU7200 TV! Your TV offers 3 HDMI ports and is Bluetooth and Wi-fi capable. If your sound system requires an optical out port, you can utilize an HDMI to Optical Converter, which is available at most Best Buy stores.

    In less than a month, the TV stopped working. I went turn it on last night for the 4th time and got a dark blue screen with audio. Sooooo disappointed!

      If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you do not see any picture, there are three potential issues.

      1) A connection issue is the most common problem where there is a bad connection, faulty cables, or improper installation.
      2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV.
      3) There is something wrong with the TV, requiring a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.

      Hi TheresaA,

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung DU7200 TV. I’m sorry you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV turns on and off repeatedly.

      Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:

      1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.

      2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.

      3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

      4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

      If the issue persists after these steps, then the TV will likely need service.     Remote is terrible. Picture quality is very decent. Sound does not really change between volumes 75-100. Please note that Samsung also does not have a deal with NBA, so as a sports fan you cannot get NBA league pass on this TV unless you purchase it through Amazon Prime

      First, there are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience.

      1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.

      2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.

      3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.

      Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.

      For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.

      Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings.

      You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

    This TV is awesome. I love the fact that it has the cloud gaming. I play Fortnite on the TV with no console. The graphics are amazing. I have it hardwired into the LAN and there is no latency. Great TV for the price.

    No digital optical out port! Really!?? .

    Good luck hooking this up to any sound system older than 2009. You have to use the HDMI (Arc) converter box to hook up to any audio source that doesn't have special ARC-HDMI port, which didn't become available on receivers till 2009. Only 2 HDMI ports, and you have to use one of them to hook up external audio. Shame on you Samsung
