Not satisfied with image quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a TV 3 years ago and it had about just a little bit better picture then my 3 year old TV wich is unacceptable due to the fact that 3 years later I have the JU7500 and it’s about the same as the NU8000. Not Happy

Lackluster performance

It upscales horribly and it's too dark for my taste. I have purchased the Q65 from Costco and plan on returning this one for a refund.

Picture not that great

Our 2018 NU8 Series features Ultra Slim Array backlight, HDR 10 Plus, wide viewing angle, Auto Game mode and more, all designed to give you the best in lifelike, crystal-clear viewing enjoyment.
Please know that the TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer the signal is to 4K, the better it will look coming out.
It also has several preset picture modes and many custom settings, allowing users to adjust images to their liking.
The Dynamic Mode is our typical store demo mode and is the brightest among all presets.
Standard Mode is ideal for home and everyday viewing.
Movie Mode is the closest setting to calibration the way the director intended as it uses less enhancements and will likely result in the truest picture.
In addition, the quality of the image on your screen depends on the source and the connection.
HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing; and when possible, 4K content will provide the best picture quality.

Tv has white marks

I’m really upset. Every tv I have is a Samsung. I have 5 TVs not under 50 inches in my home. This has been the worst experience. I bought it for my husband and rented a uhaul to get it home. Called right away when he was able to watch tv he saw it. They couldn’t send geek squad to swap it I’d need to re-rent a uhaul or contact Samsung. I has to go on a business trip so I figured when I got home I’d contact Samsung. 20 min on support I’ve had the guy just stop answering and leave chat open when I spoke about white marks on new TV. I screen shot it to have proof. I waited an hour and haft no response. This is not how anyone should be treated. Even if they only spent 100 on a tv or thousands like I have no one deserves that. I now have a broken tv I paid thousands for. I will not buy another thing Samsung. Not a phone, TV or even a oven! :(

Samsung quality is going downhill

A month after the manufacturer warranty expired, the TV will not turn on. Samsung’s quote to repair is $1,400 which is the price of a new TV. This TV is trash

Poor sports tv

Your NU8000 TV comes with a feature called Auto Motion Plus that helps to optimize motion image quality.
You can change Auto Motion Plus settings by following these steps:
1) With the TV powered on, press the Home button on the Samsung remote to open the Home screen
2) Then select Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Auto Motion Plus
3) Then you will see the following three options:
a) Off: Auto Motion Plus will always be off
b) Auto: Auto Motion Plus will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
c) Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used
4) By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings:
a) Blur Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Blur setting
b) Judder Reduction: Use the directional keys on the remote to adjust the Judder setting
c) LED Clear Motion: Select to turn On/Off

Bad TV-got image iasues 10 months after purchased!

Until it started developing like a "ghost" vertical lines on parts of the screen Samsung tried to fix it 2 times in a week and were not able to. They ended up giving us a credit at Best Buy and purchased a new tv and they picked up this one. Were very dissapointed this tv gave problems in less than a year. And we dont abuse or overuse the tv at all... Maybe we got a lemon tv. At least they replaced us with a new one...
