Problems, problems, problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The tv looked great in the store. As soon as we set it up, the problems started. Colors and clarity were great, but the positives end there. The biggest issue was the awful backlight clouding from the edge lit system with the lights off. We always turn the lights off for movie nights, and the clouding was horrible in dark scenes and the entire family noticed it. Absolutely unacceptable for this price range. Beyond that, HDR content was so dark as to be unwatchable at times. I had to turn the backlight all the way up to be able to see any details in darker scenes, but this results in the image being far too bright with sdr content. I was constantly adjusting the image every time I switched between hdr and sdr movies. After adjustments, it looked pretty good until the next movie, but I shouldn't have to tweak constantly to get an acceptable picture. The remote also constantly disconnects and stops responding. I would routinely have to keep hitting buttons over and over, or even remove the batteries to get the remote to work again. I ended up swapping this disaster for a sony X940e and am thrilled with the Sony. It's near perfect out of the box and requires no tweaking between content types once I got it set how I like it. Samsung has overpriced a mediocre TV, very disappointing. Take my advice. If you can't afford the q8 pr q9, stay far away from the q series. The edge backlighting and poor image processing ruin what appears to be a pretty good LCD panel.

Will not stay connected to internet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the tv 2 weeks ago. The first week it was great. The Smart Hub worked and stayed connected to the internet. Week 2 was different story. The Smart Hub will not stay connected to the internet. I reset the Smart Hub, the entire tv, and my router. Nothing worked and I know its a problem with the tv and not my internet because my other Samsung smart tv and other devices connect fine. Thank God this happen with in my 15 day return period. TV is going back and being replaced with another brand. I hate to do this as I am a big fan of Samsung products but for the reviews I have read online this is an on going issue with this model. On the plus side the picture was great.

Great 75 Inch TV Purchase

great picture but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first Samsung. Picture was great but started having horizontal lines after 6 WEEKS! Had to have it exchanged. Thank goodness I bought it inside the Christmas exchange window. Guess I should have stuck with the Vizio I had been buying - never had an issue withe either of them- one is now 12 years old

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ESPN app doesn’t work- called 3 times. Waiting for a service technician which is a joke. Tv is days old and won’t connect with cable provider (centurylink). I’m sure nothing can be done to fix this. I’m very technological and I went through every possible solution. Call center said “I have a bad tv” but in order to replace...have to have a tech waste my time. NBC app isn’t available for live viewing via Samsung I now have a cheap Roku device hooked to my expensive “not so smart” tv...in order to be able to watch espn and nbc live shows. Picture quality is not great-which I assume is because of streaming through multiple devices. Hoped to be able to cut the cord...but I can’t watch this in its current state. This is only the beginning...can’t wait to see what other apps don’t work.

Picture motion is terrible!

I have a 6 year old tv that has 10 times better picture motion! I do NOT recommend tv...I got it for gaming An movies, got it on sale for $2000...not even worth that in my opinion!

$2000 paperweight

When I bought this TV I was confident in its build quality since Samsung is such a trusted brand name. I had only owned the TV for a few months before I started having problems. First the remote has the tendency to lose connection after a couple of months. I thought, ok maybe the remote was defective. After a few months I bought a replacement remote only for that to have the same issues. Now on my third year of owning this TV it's pretty much dead. It's doing a boot loop. If you Google it you'll notice that this boot loop problem is not at all uncommon with Samsung TVs.

Terrible Clicking sound

Now the store won't take it back because it is out of the return period and told me to call samsung. I am even trying to buy a more expensive TV and they told me no. So I am now going to have to jump through the hoops with Samsung customer service. Very disappointing customer service from best buy after you bought a 2800 dollar TV and its only been a month.

Qled issues

I looked online and there are thousands of posts of customers with the same issue. Very expensive tv to stop working that quickly. Company who is coming out to fix it wants to charge me $50 to take it off the mount.
